I think Type-0 could get a Switch port. Similar to Crisis Core, it also originated on the PSP. Although I feel like Square wouldn’t want to revisit Type-0 for a Switch port since they already remastered it for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One years ago. Or maybe that makes it more likely to get a port? Who knows with Square-Enix.
@farrgazer I’ll never forget when ATLUS pulled that ***** with Persona games coming to Switch, only to just never bring them to the Switch. They heard the demand and brought P4G to PC instead.
@HammerGalladeBro GTA The Trilogy is such a sad case. It should’ve been a slam dunk since they were remastering three of the most beloved 6th generation games for modern platforms. Instead, it became another example of how far Rockstar has fallen.
I hope CD Projekt Red gets to finish the game this time. They’re gonna have a tough battle to regain the trust of people who were disappointed by Cyberpunk 2077 at launch.
I feel like the console versions of this game were a complete afterthought. ATLUS seems to only advertise the Steam version of the game, which is the only version that you can preorder (the Switch version didn’t even have a store page until two weeks ago; the PS4 page isn’t even up yet). Steam is also the only modern platform where they made P4G available to despite console owners asking for years. I wouldn’t be surprised if ATLUS originally intended to drop the Steam version back in December but were forced to make console ports last minute.
I’ll never forget the first New Game Plus Expo where Sega showed Catherine running on the Switch for 30 minutes despite it being a game that was already released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4, and PS Vita.
I know what the December announcement is gonna be. First, they’re gonna open with the announcement that the live covers from the concert were shadow dropped onto Apple Music and Spotify. Then they announce themed tube socks. Lastly, they announce that the P3D/P5D model viewer is being released as a standalone game for $60.
@nukatha My guess is that it’s because of all the “My Pokémon card from 20 years ago got me $4M” news stories and videos that have been everywhere as of late.
I feel like they pulled a Square-Enix with the soundtrack. With some Dragon Quest games, they purposefully used MIDI’s in the game to persuade people to buy the soundtrack on cassette or CD. It’s an incredibly scummy tactic that’s made worse because usually the discs are region-locked and won’t work on NA/EU players, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case here.
As for the price point, I guarantee it was gonna be $60, but they last minute changed it to $50 because Nintendo was getting flack for pricing Wii U ports at full price. This is evident by the Japanese pricing (¥6500).

Re: Sega Releases New Gameplay Footage Of Sonic Origins, Out On Switch This June
I hope that Knuckles is playable in Sonic CD. I’ve heard conflicting reports, but I hope he’s in that game.

I kinda wish I could buy the Kirby box just to put it on my shelf
Re: Official Pokémon DP Sound Library Shares Entire Diamond And Pearl Soundtrack
@sanderev Yeah they do releases in Japan, but not everyone wants to import them. Also good luck playing a Japanese CD on your NA/EU CD player

It reminds me of that Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure arcade game that plays similarly to this.

Re: Floppy Punch-'Em-Up 'Gang Beasts' Goes Gangbusters On Switch This Winter
I hope it’s more optimized than it is on PS4. It ran fine on there for the most part, but there were certain maps that would tank the framerate.
