@Gridatttack I don't think they care at all. By the way did you know that Mexico and Brazil are more important markets for NoA than Canada? And if I added Microsoft... Well, Mexico is the second biggest market for the Xbox in the world after the US. But the rest of the world don't seem to care.
@Cypronia Thanks but Nintendo Life blocked the other North Americans (Mexicans) and we cannot participate. Anyway te game has a nice price and good value so I should buy it as soon as I finish Xenoblade Chronicles X!
@Dark-Link73 Is Nintendo Life's fault compadre. The British people, like everybody in Europe, thinks that Mexico is a country near the South Pole. Everything not "First World" is always "south"
This is unfair! I'm Mexican, geographically living in North America and NL doesn't give me a chance to participate because I don't live in the US or Canada. Even NoA count us in the North American region, just read the back of every game: To sell in Canada, US and Mexico, they even put the freaking Mexican branch address... I'm dissapointed of Nintendo Life.
People complaining that PS4 and XBOne rely too much in graphics and not in gameplay, then Nintendo shows Star Fox Zero and it appears a fantastic game with a great gameplay and people complain that the graphics sucks... Who understand you, people?
I'm excited! I love FFVII, Crisis Core (the best PSP game) and Advent Children and I've always wanted a FFVII game or remake in a Nintendo system, kind of a retribution, I remember when Squaresoft "betrayed" Nintendo back in the nineties.
@OorWullie I'm sure Genesis lost the war at the end when Nintendo released Donkey Kong Country, Sega released Vectorman one year later and it failed, Sega of America did support a little bit more the Genesis when the Saturn came out but Nintendo released DKC 2, Yoshi's Island, DKC 3 even when the N64 was out in the market and those games were a blast! That "killed" the great momentum Genesis. The funny thing is that the Genesis was my least favorite console Sega made but I loved the Saturn and the Dreamcast, the Genesis not that much, maybe because I hate sports games with some exceptions like Nintendo World Cup or International Super Star Soccer Deluxe back in the days.
@OorWullie My point is that the SNES beat the Genesis selling more than 20 millions units than the Genesis worldwide, I'm not arguing about who had better sports games. At the end of the day I liked platforms and the SNES was the place to be with all the Nintendo exclusives. But saying that the Genesis beat the SNES because the Genesis had more exclusives sports games it's like saying the Wii U is winning this generation because it has more 2D platforms.
@Caryslan Yes, I read that story in Blake J. Harris's Console Wars and I understand the Genesis momentum Kalinske gave the Genesis in the early 90's but still the SNES sold 20 million more units than the Genesis worldwide! I just don't understand why people keep saying that the Genesis beat SNES, How? Even Super Mario World singlehandly sold more units than the main 4 Sonic games together! Explain to me, please, how the Genesis beat the SNES and please don't say Blast Processor!
"The company threw its weight behind the Mega Drive / Genesis during the 16-bit era and helped Sega score a notable victory over Nintendo"
What??? The SNES beat the Genesis in almost every market (except Europe where the Mega Drive won by minimum margin) selling 49 million units worldwide and the Genesis Mega Drive sold only 29 million units,
@Monsti Entschuldigung but you're wrong. In Mexico amiibo is a smash hit, all the stores want exclusivity with Nintendo, stores that only sells Sony or MS consoles and games started giving Nintendo a chance to offer their products thanks to amiibo. Now I go to my local supermarket and in the electronics section they sell Wii U consoles and games and amiibo of course!
In Mexico, department stores like Liverpool and games retailers like Gameplanet have merged all the Wii U, 3DS and amiibo products into one banner though is not the one in red (which I love by the way). Thanks to amiibo popularity Nintendo has more room in the Mexicans stores.
@Tops
Well, Canadian Dollar is weaker than the American dollar, they are different currencies, do you think £32 (regular price for a 3DS game in the UK) is cheaper just because 32 < 39? Nope, because that's $48 American Dollars and actually $50 American Dollars (Price for this SMT Special Edition) are $63 Canadian Dollars so technically the games are cheaper in Canada because this game costs CAD$60, not CAD$63. Canadians complains too much about prices (they should ask help from the US to have American currency as their offcial currency if they want games for the Price of $39) and I dont' see British gamers complain here in NL and it's more expensive there. Heck, I'm from a Third World Country and games are way more expensive here and my salary in my job is like four times less the minimum wage in Canada. First World Problems they have, I guess...
I hate political correctness, I'm Mexican and I'm not offended by this, I have Spanish roots and I'm not offended either of the Resident Evil 4 or Assassin's Creed IV depiction of Spaniards, it's just a bloody game, not some racist propaganda. Everybody nowadays seems too sensitive with anything!
You can get Marth in the Mexican eBay (Mercado Libre) for $180 and Gameplanet (the Mexican version of Gamestop) and Walmart Mexico have Rosalina for pre-order right now. Besides Liverpool (a famous department store) are selling online all the Amiibos (first wave) with 20% discount for the Holidays. Fortunately we don't have those limitations the US buyers are getting with all the stores exclusives.
@Spoony_Tech You're quite right, the price is good for the physical game plus the goodies, but it's ridiculous for a digital game. Fortunately, Atlus games often get discounts in the eShop.
@sinalefa The lenght of the game will worth the $50 (I hope), besides Atlus always provides a CD or Artbook plus an extra (and nice) box so $50 doesn't sounds bad.

I preordered the Collector's Edition. That gold amiibo looks fantastic, besides I'm a die-hard Megaman fan. I still hope for Legends 3 someday...

Re: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker Trailer Calls you Back to Save the World in New Story Arc, Triangulum
@Spoony_Tech Or you can wait 'til it hits $5 bucks. For me $50 is good value, a long game plus CD/Artbook and an extra box is great.
Re: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker Trailer Calls you Back to Save the World in New Story Arc, Triangulum
@Pokefanmum82 It's not $60, it's $50, good deal for a long game plus Atlus goodies.
