What a stupid article. With Switch you can switch from console mode to handheld. Switch is very versatile console, I can shoot with gun controller using motion controls in Wolfenstein or Sniper Elite when in console mode, also playing Grid or Mario Kart with steering wheel is fun. In Luigis Mansion 3 I had to use console mode to get bigger screen. You can use different controlling styles and bigger screen, you don't have to, but you can, that is the whole point with Switch.
Are there gyro controls for steering? Otherwise no buy for me, I have NFS Hot Pursuit already on PC. Could you mention about gyro controls in your reviews, especially with car games and FPS games?
I have spend over 100€ to get one Star Wars character in lootbox miniature game and I didn't got it. That was useless, I hate lootboxes, but I am still buying Kinder Supprise eggs every easter, just for random useless toys, because it is fun, I also understand it can be like gambling.
I just bought this game and it is best rally game for Switch, though I have only tried V-Rally 4 and RR3 is so much better, it has motion controls which I really need to enjoy driving games and to give better overall feeling when driving. RR3 and Grid are top racing games for Switch. Different cockpit views would be cool, there are usually couple of cockpit views in rally games, I prefer more close to windscreen view.
Preordered right away, there is going to be motion controls and HD rumble in this great western game. I have been playing this on PC and it must be great with motion controls on Switch.
Noooooo, I waited so long for good rally game and gyro wheel controls in rally game, but Kylotonn fails again, now I have to wait even longer. I wish Codemasters will make good Dirt Rally port for Switch with motion control steering and analog stick gas pedal support.
Looks like fun and also quite funny game. Add couple of dumbbells with this ring and you will be evil bodybuilder Draco yourself after couple of years playing this game. Can I use ring also for driving games?
@OorWullie Thanks for info. No gyro controls for such good Duke game, not buying this for sure until it is patched for gyro controls if that never happens, I have Wolfenstein and it is great game and it has gyro controls.
Great game, just bought it with even lower price. Has motion controls and enemy locking which is quite easy and fun, also has hardcore mode. Switch doesn't need cumbersome flightsticks lying around your table, you have joy-con and that is quite simple and fun to use as flightstick.
@JayJ Thanks for that info, this is no buy for me. I hope they will include tilt wheel support in WRC 8, but it has same developer as V-Rally 4 so I don't have my hopes very high. Wheel support is must for PC games, but instead for console it is pitifully lacking in many good racing games. I want to see racing game for Switch where analog sticks are used as break and gas and tilt control for wheel with HD rumble for road textures and traction, that could be good racing game.
Is there motion controls (wheel tilt support) for this game? I was so disappointed when there was no motion controls in V-Rally 4 Switch version, so I bought it for PC only for playing it with Steam controller motion controls. Driving game without tilting motion controls or wheel controls isn't any fun for me anymore. There is so much wasted games out there without proper motion controls. I am not buying any more racing games for Switch without motion controls.
I have to disagree your review little bit. Game is otherwise quite good, but some tracks are insanely made, by blocking track with different obstacles right in the middle of tracks. It makes those tracks like obstable courses not racing tracks, vehicle is exploding every time it hits those obstacles, there is no electric shield or anything to prevent crashing. Some tracks are good, but some are insane. Therefore I have to give this game only 7/10.
Game is very playable even with normal settings, it is like NFS game with vehicles partially flying. Great game and only racing game so far. Maybe I am buying one more joycon grip for playing racing games with family, not going to buy any wheel acessories this time.
Nintendo doesn't want to administer their own social media servers anymore. Clever move. It must have been too tedious effort to try to remove all curse words and rudeness from Miiverse.
Why you did this Nintendo & SEGA, abandoned motion controls in game where they are really needed. I already sold Mario & Sonic at London 2012 and bought this awful Rio 2016 version instead. My mistake, I though motion controls were included, like they were before, I was really wrong about this game. Only playable events are soccer and rygby, where you don't need motion controls. Bad game and review is absolutely correct with 5/10. I hope motion controls haters are finally happy and buying this game a lot, so Nintendo could invent something new again.
I just bought this title and I would give it 9, it is above average super-hero game with great graphics. I don't understand about this review at all, this is great Wii U version. Optional WiiMote or GamePad motion controls would be great or being able to use Gamepad as viewfinder when you look around as Spider-Man.
ProController and GamePads analog sticks really feel like you are handicapped in shooting games like Resident Evil, I would love to blast monsters with WiiZapper. I am going to sell Wii U version and going to buy PC version instead.
I like new ideas, but I think now many innovative games are dulling down back to thumbstick controls, because of GamePad controller. Developers and mainly gamers doesn't bother to experience anything new so majority of games doesn't use GamePads full potential as virtual screen and as aiming device or motion controls, usually GamePad is used only for off-screen playing. Maybe it would be better if Nintendo would have continued to use WiiMotePlus as standard controller along with Wii U. Name could have been also changed to Wii 2 HD. Then every gamer and developer would know that Nintendo Wii U is different kind of gaming console, not anything standard. I still think it is time to change how people are used to play video games, Wii was definetly on the right way to change this practise. Hopefully there will be games that use all the new features of Gamepad.
Finally I was able to win couple of races in medium level, but never all races in full 5 race championship, I will continue practising those turns. It helps alot if you memorize all the tracks, otherwise it is much harder to win. I noticed that sometimes you need to turn wiimote side to side when there is small wheel icon front of car before starting race, it is somekind of calibration.
I had to register just to comment how good this game is, definitely worth of 500 points. This is first real racing game for WiiWare and now reviewers are complaining for loose drifting controls, this game is drifting game and it is fun. I don't believe reviews, some times they are right, but now they are completely wrong. This game should have scored at least 8/10. Great racing game, easy mode is too easy for me and medium is almost too challenging that I haven't manage to win it yet. There should be car tuning and rally or dirt tracks and cars, hope to see them in sequel.

Re: Yes, Nintendo Really Is Allowing A Game With 'Hentai' In The Title On Switch
I have bad or good news depending on your viewpoint, hentai content is now blocked, I guess people are too lazy to use parental controls and Nintendo is changing their policy. https://gonintendo.com/contents/10253-rumor-nintendo-changes-policy-no-longer-allows-games-with-uncensored-bare-breasts
