My favourite game and for that reason, I've never played it since. Keep it in 1998 along with my memories of it. Regard this dungeon, I remember when the text came up and gave the title of the boss. Felt so cinematic.
Had a harpist play Zelda's lullaby at my wedding. Only time I got more attention than the bride was when a Zelda fan came up to me at the reception afterwards!
Strange to talk about frame rate and the such when evaluating a game from 1998. Every game should be held to it merits when it came out and how you felt and thought at that time. Especially games in series. They stand on the shoulders of what came before them. Exploring in Ocarina of Time was far more exciting in its time than the admittingly brilliant vastness of Breath of the wild in 2017.
Switch pro controller is quite good, but in general, I'm increasing thinking any poll on here is redundant because whatever is Switch related always comes on top. Don't know if that's a demographic/age thing. Like when recently TOTK Ganondorf was voted best design based on a few seconds in a trailer and one piece of artwork.
No need for it. Also, considering how they butchered Ganondorf, wouldn't trust them to cast him well anyway. Ganondorf for me has a Charles Dance vibe to him, but they give him whatever that angry bro voice that was and I hope they leave some cinematic aspects alone.
@ragingdan27 Hit the nail on the head. If it takes six years, come out and say it and then have the decency to deal with the backlash. But continuously delaying and saying we should wait for a perfect game just shows a real lack of strategy, competence and regard. Consumer base is partially to blame too for not demanding better.
Zelda games are a touchstone cultural event for me, but these longer delays with every installment feels like trolling at this stage. It's either incompetence or a lack of regard for a loyal consumer base (I've never bought anything other than Nintendo) that they can't keep to a timeline, even a timeline within the same year. And the argument 'that once it's ready it'll be ready' or look at cCyberpuck is just lazy. Loyal customers should be a bit more demanding and less fawning.
Every single time they do this. I've been a Nintendo loyalist since the NES and have never bought another console, so these games are important to the likes of me. But they must have the worse project managers imaginable. If a game is going to take a certain length of time, that's fine. But to delay a delayed game again, is taking customers for granted. And I don't buy the 'At least it'll be good when it's ready' argument. They're taking longer on a game using the same engine as they are with the original. Really poor management and respect for customers.

Re: Rumour: Switch Successor Might Not Be Launching Until 2025
As always with Nintendo, you need to hear the rumour, then the official word, then after the delays, can you start believing.
Re: Soapbox: Ganondorf's Villainous Intro In Ocarina Of Time Is One Of Gaming's Best
If I remember right, didn't he turn and look at link when he's peering though the window in the garden?

Re: Feature: Which Zelda Game Has The Best Ganondorf? Every Design Ranked By You
Aside from some artwork and a few seconds in a trailer, a character from a game not even released gets top place! Funny.

Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Ganondorf Voice Actor Revealed As Matthew Mercer
Badly cast. Really feels out of place with the game and the character.
