Re: Nintendo Unleashes Wacky Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS Commercials

Palutena

Not a big fan of these childish commercials. <.< They make Smash look like a childrens game.. which children can by all means have fun and play it.. but I feel that many look down upon Nintendo because of these types of commercials. The first time I saw the one with the pizza, I was like, "okay." Now, looking back, I really do not like them. :u I just hope more children are influenced by the commercial to purchase Smash for 3DS so Nintendo can further increase their success from E3 and Mario Kart 8.

@Nintendo6400 The 64 one was quite funny. xD I remember seeing it when I was younger..

Re: Feature: Ahead Of Hyrule Warriors, We Take A Look Back At Koei Tecmo's Famous Musou Series

Palutena

I'm decently familiar with the Warriors franchise. i've played Dynasty Warriors and Shin Musou Gundam for quite some time in the past. I lost my touch and fondness of the series but I'll definitely spend a lot of time on Hyrule Warriors.. Or not really since Smash for 3DS comes out shortly after. :u Not sure if the Smash 3DS game is worth getting due to the risk of the circle pad. xD I'm a pretty intense Smash player.. So I'm pretty insecure towards the circle pad.

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Provides Another Look at Super Smash Bros. Modes

Palutena

@Swiket Maybe the Wii U version will have stage builder. We know nothing of the modes within the Wii U version, therefore, we may get a stage builder in there. Plus, I'm sure that if we do get a stage builder, it'll be a significantly better one than the one in the previous game, especially since the Wii U is more powerful and can handle more things, as compared to the 3DS. I'd really like to see a story mode, but we were informed that there will not be one due to the cutscenes being difficult to make. :c Stage builder would be cool too.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Brings Life to the 3DS With New Models

The price of the "New" 3DS XL is cheaper than a black 3DS XL from Amazon. $188 compared to $192. I currently do not own a 3DS or XL variant.. but I'd really like one for Smash when it comes out, along with other games such as Fire Emblem Awakening (Beat it with a friend's 3DS XL), Link between worlds, Kid Icarus Uprising, Kirby Fighters Z, Pokemon ORAS, and whatever nice JRPG out there. I may just wait for the "New" 3DS XL to release in North America due to the enhanced graphics and 2x the ram/vram. I currently play 3DS games on my brother's XL, so I guess I could borrow his every so often to play Smash. Or, I can get a refurbished Zelda 3DS XL and use it temporarily until the new one comes out, then use it as a collector's decoration in my room.

Re: A Pre-order of Sonic Boom Will Bag You an Exclusive Sonic Figurine

Palutena

@GreatPlayer I actually like Sonic Heroes a lot, of course, I'm a lot more biased towards the older titles considering, I did grow up with them. I can't find myself to play any of the recent titles such as Colors. I watched a level from colors and the music and level design is great, I can't just find myself actually sitting down and playing it because of it's new mechanics such as those special power ups, or transformations Sonic can use. Lost World seems too childish to me, the only reason I'd want the game is for the free Skyward Sword level.. After Unleashed, I just stopped buying Sonic games. Unleashed has some nice levels, but it didn't appeal to me.. notably the Werehog levels, which many do not fancy. The elevator-like music is playered just felt tiring. Secret Rings was decent in my opinion, controls suck since you're locked in pretty much, but it was fun. I'm just stuck within the past. :u

Re: Nintendo Stock Value Climbs to Highest Point Since Late February

It'l go up even more when Hyrule Warriors comes out since people in Japan are just so fond of the Dynasty Warriors series. Subsequently, October will hit and Smash for 3DS will be out. Even more of an increase. Then October comes to pass and the new month of November will likely have Smash for Wii U released as well as the overly popular, new Pokemon games. Oh, and Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker will also be out within the holiday season. Nintendo can expect a financially safe, rest of the year.
