Re: Review: LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins (3DS)

PONGbyATARI

After playing LC 3DS for 3+ hours I like the game. I had low expectations so after reading previews I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it. My biggest complaint is the character draw in is pretty bad they will pop up at very short distances in a strange random manner. The game controls are tight the graphics not great but decent. It would have been nice if I could use my CPPXL the second stick would make for better control. It is also nice that the game is priced lower $29.99 most places than the average $39.99 for most new 3ds games. I would give the game a 7.5 overall

Re: Reaction: Our Thoughts on Nintendo's 3DS Direct - 17th April

If you asked me a year ago I would have never said the 3ds is getting the majority of my play time but I can say now its getting a big chunk of it. Overall Nintendo is getting 70%+ of my time between the Wiiu and the 3ds with my Xbox 360 and PS3 and Vita taking up the other 30%. A lot of people will wait until the big first party titles hit before they buy the Wiiu. A lot of so called experts are saying the Wiiu is dead before it starts just like the did with the 3ds what I think most of them forget is Nintendo is the only gaming company that can survive on there first party titles alone with very little third party support.

@Luigifan141 From everything I have read most likely not. I called Nintendo a couple of weeks ago and was told there was no plans for now to release it in the U.S. I purchased mine on Amazon. Monster hunter is fine with or without he CPPXL I prefer with I have large hands so the system is very comfortable with it on. For games like Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts they are both greatly improved with the CPPXL. Even with just a handful of games that support it I feel it's well worth it for those games alone. Hopefully future games will support the CPPXL I was disappointed that the U.S version of Ace Combat does not support it like the Japanese version.

Re: Rayman Creator Michel Ancel "Wasn't Shocked" By Backlash To Legends Delay

@shinpichu I am still interested but not nearly as excited as I was. One of the main reasons I purchased the wiiu was exclusives and first party titles. Rayman not only was suppose to be an awesome launch title but also an exclusive and now that its neither that doesn't set well with me. The fact is I will still pick the game up at some point but not at its launch I like several others will be playing GTA in September. At the very least Ubi should have given us Rayman now and released the extra content in September. I will be surprised if there is all these extra levels and bosses that they mentioned I would love for the development team to confirm this.

I tried to pick this up yesterday at a local GS they told me it was a pre-order only title that there stores were not carrying it. So of to Amazon I went $29.99 shipped. I have supported GS stores for years and even worked for them several years ago recently I have had some not so pleasant experiences with them its been very disappointing.

Re: Ubisoft Not Disappointed With Wii U Install Base

PONGbyATARI

@LzQuacker In my opinion ubi and Nintendo thought they had about 2 years to support Wiiu without interruptions now that Sony has announced and Microsoft is about to announce new systems Ubi along with other third parties are going to leave Nintendo to fend for themselves. Nintendo better go on the offense and announce a solid first party plan. I
myself will not settle for sloppy ports. It was really nice to see the effort that went into NFS & Zen Pinball
both are superior to other consoles. I doubt we will see a lot of developers take the time to give us quality ports. So let's hope Nintendo has there first party act together and they can seal some more exclusives that are as quality as the Lego game.

I am still baffled by the decision to delay Rayman. I do not believe for a second that there adding additional content to the game. Why not have the best selling third party title so far for the system. It just sucks to know that a game that would be a hit and a great seller is setting in a warehouse collectingĀ dust.

Re: Talking Point: The Perils and Positives of a Packed Release Schedule

PONGbyATARI

I will never complain about weeks like this last one. I had not given up on the Wiiu or 3ds but I must admit I was getting a little restless with the Wiiu after the Rayman mess. This next few months are what the Wiiu needs. Not only are we getting games but good games not just sloppy ports. Nintendo you have some momentum don't derail the train again let it roll.

@zenverak
I grew up playing pinball and Zen comes the closest to dropping a quarter. They have done an amazing job recreating the real pinball table experience. And from what I have read the Wiiu version plays and looks great. I have checked the eShop and it wasn't available before this post.
