Get yourself a flip grip and you will never play games that support vertical play any other way. I also switched from the Skull & Co. Grip to the Satisfye Grip and Elite Case it's just more comfortable and easier to get on and off to use the flip grip.
Picked my pre-order up at my local Best Buy I love the 3ds I don't play it as much since getting the Switch but still enjoy it. Pick up Sushi Striker if you haven't yet and see how the game was designed to play dual screen the Switch version was garbage the 3ds version is lots of fun.
I hope that it comes out this year and doesn't get pushed to 2016. It's been years since I have been this hyped up for a game release. At least in the time being I have the 3ds version to veg on.
I am an adult gamer and playing games on my Smart Phone is not nearly as fun as playing games on my 3ds. I would rather pay $40 for a 3ds game than .99 cents for a smart phone game that can't compare control wise with pay as you play and ad's. So I couldn't agree with you more.
I use to play Dune on the Sega Genesis very fun fairly rare game. It would be great if games like this would make there way to the eshop somehow someday.
After playing LC 3DS for 3+ hours I like the game. I had low expectations so after reading previews I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it. My biggest complaint is the character draw in is pretty bad they will pop up at very short distances in a strange random manner. The game controls are tight the graphics not great but decent. It would have been nice if I could use my CPPXL the second stick would make for better control. It is also nice that the game is priced lower $29.99 most places than the average $39.99 for most new 3ds games. I would give the game a 7.5 overall
If you asked me a year ago I would have never said the 3ds is getting the majority of my play time but I can say now its getting a big chunk of it. Overall Nintendo is getting 70%+ of my time between the Wiiu and the 3ds with my Xbox 360 and PS3 and Vita taking up the other 30%. A lot of people will wait until the big first party titles hit before they buy the Wiiu. A lot of so called experts are saying the Wiiu is dead before it starts just like the did with the 3ds what I think most of them forget is Nintendo is the only gaming company that can survive on there first party titles alone with very little third party support.
@Luigifan141 From everything I have read most likely not. I called Nintendo a couple of weeks ago and was told there was no plans for now to release it in the U.S. I purchased mine on Amazon. Monster hunter is fine with or without he CPPXL I prefer with I have large hands so the system is very comfortable with it on. For games like Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts they are both greatly improved with the CPPXL. Even with just a handful of games that support it I feel it's well worth it for those games alone. Hopefully future games will support the CPPXL I was disappointed that the U.S version of Ace Combat does not support it like the Japanese version.
@shinpichu I am still interested but not nearly as excited as I was. One of the main reasons I purchased the wiiu was exclusives and first party titles. Rayman not only was suppose to be an awesome launch title but also an exclusive and now that its neither that doesn't set well with me. The fact is I will still pick the game up at some point but not at its launch I like several others will be playing GTA in September. At the very least Ubi should have given us Rayman now and released the extra content in September. I will be surprised if there is all these extra levels and bosses that they mentioned I would love for the development team to confirm this.
@MadAussieBloke I would download more titles if there was a discount. Most games I am going to resell at some point there are exceptions like MH3 and Lego City I would be fine with downloads of both.
I tend not to download games that you can buy retail but I could see myself downloading MH3 if I could have not found it in stores. I do think the primary reason for the short supply is to spur download sales.
@Pro-N-Gamer I always buy Nintendo systems for first party titles if the system starts relying on third party titles to keep it afloat its not going to be pretty.
Animal crossing for the 3ds is fantastic but what about the Wiiu? Nintendo for the sake of the system announce Animal Crossing for the Wiiu and you have a huge system seller on your hands!
A lot of bad press on the Wiiu with titles like Deus Ex I think the Wiiu will be fine. Nintendo really needs to get some great 1st party action going for example where is Animal Crossing Wiiu? I'm looking forward to ac on the 3ds but we really need titles like this on the Wiiu.
I tried to pick this up yesterday at a local GS they told me it was a pre-order only title that there stores were not carrying it. So of to Amazon I went $29.99 shipped. I have supported GS stores for years and even worked for them several years ago recently I have had some not so pleasant experiences with them its been very disappointing.
The controls are very good with a single stick but I always prefer dual stick control options. I had to import the CPP for my XL here in the U.S and now I'm playing games that I haven't for months since upgrading to the XL like Kingdom Hearts & Resident Evil. I wish Nintendo would listen to gamers and sell the CPP world wide and support it.
I will download this at launch. Looks like its worth the wait to me. Are far as getting stuck goes that's what gamefaqs is for. Thanks for another in depth review.
@LzQuacker In my opinion ubi and Nintendo thought they had about 2 years to support Wiiu without interruptions now that Sony has announced and Microsoft is about to announce new systems Ubi along with other third parties are going to leave Nintendo to fend for themselves. Nintendo better go on the offense and announce a solid first party plan. I myself will not settle for sloppy ports. It was really nice to see the effort that went into NFS & Zen Pinball both are superior to other consoles. I doubt we will see a lot of developers take the time to give us quality ports. So let's hope Nintendo has there first party act together and they can seal some more exclusives that are as quality as the Lego game.
Ubi your part of the reason the user base is small. Rayman is a system seller are you suits really that stupid? Your decision making is beyond comprehension.
I am still baffled by the decision to delay Rayman. I do not believe for a second that there adding additional content to the game. Why not have the best selling third party title so far for the system. It just sucks to know that a game that would be a hit and a great seller is setting in a warehouse collectingĀ dust.
I will never complain about weeks like this last one. I had not given up on the Wiiu or 3ds but I must admit I was getting a little restless with the Wiiu after the Rayman mess. This next few months are what the Wiiu needs. Not only are we getting games but good games not just sloppy ports. Nintendo you have some momentum don't derail the train again let it roll.
@zenverak I grew up playing pinball and Zen comes the closest to dropping a quarter. They have done an amazing job recreating the real pinball table experience. And from what I have read the Wiiu version plays and looks great. I have checked the eShop and it wasn't available before this post.
