The boxart is HILARIOUSLY BAD. That doesn't matter to me though, one of my favorite games ib eing released and it's published by one of my favorite publishers!
secret Disgaea character boss fight, anyone?

Re: Review: Pokémon Black and White (DS)

OverlordMao

Ehh, I'll do what I've done with every pokemon game since LeafGreen.
Step 1: Buy it 2 months after it's released,
Step 2: OBSESS OVER IT AND COLLECT EVERY SINGLE POKEMON IN IT FOR A WHOLE MONTH.
Step 3: Never play it ever again until a new one comes out.

Yup, that's what I've done. The series is something I've grown up with, but it feels more like a chore to keep up with it over the years after Sapphire (which ended up being my favorite).

Wow, now that I played the demo, I'm really interested in this one now. Looks really original and some complex puzzles could do me some good

Re: Why the 3DS Will Not Use an Achievement System

OverlordMao

I don't really care about achievements, hell I'll make my own. Coming up with different ways of challenging myself in games is its own reward.

Just yesterday, I somehow managed to beat Mega Man Zero 2 for the GBA just using the buster! That was quite the accomplishment in my opinion.

Re: Talking Point: Your Favourite Nintendo Christmas Memories

It was 2000, my brother had played his psx for years and left me out of it, so I became jealous. I wanted my own system because all I had was a gameboy color and 2 games.

Then, my awesome grandman who worked at a game casino (the people who excahnge tickets for prizes) told me that if I could win enough tickets(around 2000), she would give me a PS2 from the prize rack for christmas.

I did it, and I outdid my brother at the same time. BOOYAH!

Re: There May Never Be Another Smash Bros. as Hardcore as Melee

OverlordMao

I really like Melee and Brawl, because I grew up with both. But Melee was DEFINITELY hardcore. I'm not a tournament type of guy, and Brawl was much fairer in asking me to defeat it's harder challenges OVER TIME. Melee was really difficult and faster-paced, and I can say that after having it for a good 8 years.
