No it didn't, that's just your nostalgia-filter talking. and also, they've said on several occasions there will be NO WATER LEVELS, on account of them slowing the fast pace of the game (in their words, not mine).

Also, I am DEFINITELY sure this game will be fantastic. DKC hasn't let me down in the past, and I know that Retro is an amazing developer, this vids only make me more excited.

Oh yeah, this game is even better now. It's amazing how much love telltale puts into their games, and I'm surprised at the fantastic new Marty voice. AJ's gonna go far, I tell ya.

I'm betting on 800 wii points.. I'm willing to stretch to 1000 but no more than that.

Playing it now. Gotta say the biggest improvement is no longer do the exp crystals drown everything else out horribly.

Oh yeah, and the music is EVEN BETTER.

I can fully agree whole-heartedly. After all the BS Wii NBA Jam had to suffer, we have every right to be pissed that there's no online play for such a ridiculous reason.
Also, as a gamer, I've always respected other's opinions and tried not intrude on someone else's way of life. It's a hobby, and you can join in if you want.

I always laugh when I see in "stand in a big room" picture when a wii game starts up. There's a guy that just waves the remote in a huge circle, hitting everything in his path.

I hope there's a competitive co-op mode like in the originals, but if not, regular co-op (without switching) is very much appreciated

Still workin on Sacred Grounds in Cave Story, but as long as I have points by the time this comes out, I'll scoop it up.

I put my pre-order down just yesterday, I am SO excited for this one. Ever since me and my buddy bought DKC1&2 for the VC, we've been all about Donkey Kong Country. However, JUST when I beat DKC2, I heard about DKCR and just couldn't contain my excitement. I'm gonna hazard a 9/10 score guess for when it comes out.

2 things:
1. It's going to be 1000 points isn't it? sigh looks like only being 2 dollars away is gonna make me pay for another 10 bucks again.
and 2. Why is one of the tags "Sunshine?" I can't FEEL the sunshine. Does it brighten up YOUR day?

I really liked Jett Rocket, except for two little things
1.It's WAY too similar to Super Mario Galaxy. The music, the camera angles, the graphics. This CANNOT be a coincidence.
2. It was way too easy. Me being a collector, I beat this whole game in a quick, 7 hour sitting.
Regardless, I hope they make the sequel a little more challenging.

WHERE'S MY MONEY WHEN I NEED IT!?

The only thing I find unfair is the slight price change of Import titles. For instance, almost all super nintendo games are 800 points, but Milon's DokiDoki Adventure has to be just 1 dollar more?
I was SO CLOSE to buying it, but I settled for Vectorman last time I had points.

finally finished this game yesterday.
Overall, I think it was pretty good. Definitely had that Zero Series vibe to it. Although Area-K's lava sections kicked my butt.

This and Super Mario 63 are officially my favorite games on Newgrounds.

I mean, seriously.
The level of detail (from the sound effects, music, and the way they control) is so high it's off the charts.
A lot of fan-love went into this game, and I really appreciate it.

Yeah, that game is pretty annoying IMO. I keep losing all my lives to the stupidest pits that are EVERYWHERE in the later levels.

I don't have the patience for this game. I really wish I bought Legend Of Zelda instead.

I haven't beaten it yet, but I love it's originality and awesomeness too much to give up on it.
I'm currently stuck on the Trouble Bruin battle on scene 6. any tips, guys?

someone should probably review this before it comes out.
I haven't played MM4, so I'd love to hear what someone has to say about it.
