Great news. Been waiting for this port to happen.

Also happened to me. No physical game with my pre-order from Best buy. I returned in store and unwittingly picked up a starter kit that had a missing blue booster on the Arwing. So for a game I had pre-ordered to have mailed out for convenience, I wound up having to go to the store.. Twice.

All the best to you. I've greatly enjoyed reading your work over the years. Your humor, humility, and spirit will be missed.

Great news. Day 1 for me.

Runbow is a great game. Played mostly the single player campaign, but 'twas a blast w/ local MP as well. Hope a lot more people get to experience this gem. May even triple dip w this & deluxe. A must for platformer fans.

Got a pair each 4 the kids & a cool Mario warp pipe t-shirt. It came w/ a set of 6 Mario pins, for all the collectors out there. (Need 2 buy shoes & a shirt 2 get)

Into my 3rd playthrough of SF0, 1st 2 solo & the last co-op. It's been a blast especially after mastering the controls. It did take an investment of time but with patience the gameplay opens up and is fun in an addictive arcade way. The branching missions are a definite must play.

Great game, well deserving of its high game rating on nl. Highly recommended. Also echo the sentiments above about good for longer play sessions & the occasional crash. There's a superb guide @ gamefaqs as well.

10+ hrs into the sp campaign. Plays fine with the pro controller. Unreal engine grafx looks fine too on a 50 in hdtv. Don't get all the hate this has gotten. If you enjoy a movie series like say The Expendables, you'd probably like this. I'm enjoying it.

But will it be an affordable space adventure?

took my son to see it. he loved it & i enjoyed it. it's not meant to be ready player one caliber. that's out next year or 2017 hopefully.

RIP Iwata-san. Your legacy will be one of fun & innovation. You'll be remembered fondly by gamers everywhere, but especially Nintendo gamers.

@dkxcalibur @daveh30 Unepic was a gem of an action adventure RPG for me. Tons of rooms to explore, customizable weapon load outs, crazy funny side quests, & unique bosses. Take the plunge it'll be epic.

Having a blast with Adventures of Pip right now, happy to have helped this KS success make it to Wii U.

Pip pip hooray! 1st game I ever backed on KS & the first to deliver. Really love the pixel visuals on the big screen, with great music by Virt Kaufman to boot. Enjoying the game so far. Definitely recommend to fans of pixel platforming awesomeness.

@Gobelee Try talking to one of the guys in the colosseum. Think there was some quest before that.
Bought this on sale and thought it was a short RPG. 100 + hrs later I was proven wrong. Had loads of fun w/ #2. The online team battles are a blast. Not sure how to get the really powerful ones though.

Well written article. Critical success doesn't always translate into commercial success, but here's to hoping it will in this case. Excited for this Friday.

Sounds like it has some pretty nifty features. Will likely pick this up @ some point, once gaming backlog improves.

That would be a brilliant move, rolling out a unified acct ahead of the holidays. DL sales would skyrocket = profits, & you're right, probably lots of people who already have a wiiu (myself incl) would get one of the special bundles = more profit. Now you got my hopes up...

@rjer yeah, no multiplay n LCU is a little disappointing, but I still manage to play w/ my son, & it's very enjoyable. Best game on wii u for us for now.

Having a blast playing this. Researched all the reviews prior, and my gut feeling was that this was gonna be a fun game, & it hasn't disappointed. If you're on the fence, I highly rec this. Great gameplay, humor, controls.
