Re: Site News: Happy "Nintendo Life" Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary Nintendo Life!!! This is literally the best site in gaming. I have it as my default web page. I really enjoy the people here and although I don't always comment on things, I read every article that is posted. My first morning ritual when I wake up is to see what's new on Nintendo Life.

Re: Review: ATV Wild Ride 3D (3DS eShop)

Nintex

I got this game earlier today and I have to say it's really good. It looks like what an N64 game would look like in HD and reminds me a lot of Excitebike64. The music is great and it is a blast to play. As far as glitches and whatnot, I have yet to encounter any. This game has lived up to my expectations of a top notch eShop game and to top it off it has online play!

Re: Rumour: Flashback Remake Coming To Wii U eShop

Nintex

Well this is definitely surprising. As a big fan of the original I am shocked that this game would receive a remake considering the original was a niche title that didn't do very well. I will gladly buy this if it comes to the e-Shop.

Re: Nintendo Announces 890,000 Wii U Sales in U.S. Launch

Nintex

very impressive numbers indeed. Glad to see WiiU doing just fine. The 3DS on the other hand selling 1.25 in december is pure insanity! For a company every one seems to cast doom and destruction upon, even in a "Nintendo Apocalypse" the weather is just peachy as can be.

Re: Review: Tank! Tank! Tank! (Wii U)

@advance_melee Your totally right about thinking into games too much. This game was meant to be mindless shooting fun and nothing more. Story... not so much, tons of perks and options, not so much, just a multiplayer bananza! People are still complaining about the price, everywhere i've checked the game is 49 bucks. Thats not expensive at all compared to other WiiU games retailing for 59. I don't know what people expect out of every game they get, but for me it's the FUN factor. If I had to grip about something for this game it would probably be that there is no online multi for it.

(EDIT) my bad it's 39 bucks, even better!

I'm still gonna get this game, because to me it still looks very fun and the multiplayer is what i really want. People are going hard on this game because it doesn't have this or that and thats really sad. As an old school gamer I remember playing these types of games all the time and having some serious fun with them. The game is what it sets out to be and that is a multiplayer fun-fest! If this had been released 12-15 years ago on n64 or dreamcast, I guarantee that it'd be a cult classic. With that said, I'm still excited to get this game.

Re: Review: 2 Fast 4 Gnomz (3DS eShop)

Nintex

Hmm, a seemingly solid review. I just went and watched the trailer for the game on the eShop and I'm impressed! I just might download it. I love fast paced nearly hard to play 2d sidecrollers. Just my cup of tea.

Re: Miyamoto Puzzled As To Why Anyone Would Want A New F-Zero

Nintex

F-Zero is one of the best futuristic type racers. The whole sci-fi premise of the game is what makes it epic. That on top of insanely fast races that zip along with hairpin turns. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan and have played every F-Zero game there is minus Climax. I was almost heartbroken when I read this article. Miyamoto have you forgotten what makes games fun? F-zero really doesn't need much improvement. I'd be happy with just another entry with new locals and whatnot. As for what I want in a new F-zero on wiiu or 3DS-
1. Fully customizable machines utilizing the Gamepad on Wiiu or touch screen on 3DS.
2. Lush new tracks set on exotic new worlds plus some of the old ones.
3. Perhaps a story complete with cutscenes that go with every pilot.
4. Some awesome new music along the lines of F-Zero-X.
5. Have a new mode in which you fully create and customize a character who must become F-Zero champ in a full length season mode
6. Online competitive races!!! As many racers as possible without server lag. Hopefully 30 racers can compete online in tournaments at 60FPS.
7. Track editor that uses Gamepad or touch screen to truly make unique tracks that can be raced online or passed via street pass.
8. Don't tone down the difficulty, keep it hard like X and GX.
9. Make the ships take damage that you must earn money to repair. This would be awesome for season mode.
10 Just make the game!!!!

I think Miyamoto was teasing. Nintendo are making a new game, they just want to see what the players want, call it free questionnaires from the fan base. On a side note, my avatar name "Nintex" comes from a sign that was used ingame in F-Zero-X. Never knew what it really means.

Re: Insider Reports Suggest That Focus On Eternal Darkness 2 Has Crippled Silicon Knights

Nintex

@LZCatbol, your probably right about them not owning all the rights, but I do know Nintendo has the Sanity Meter pattened and they own the copyright to the name Eternal Darkness, because they recently just extended the copyright for it. But, yea perhaps the game was looking horrible or just didn't meet Nintendo's expectations. Whatever the case, it sure is saddening to hear.
