Been playing all weekend on Switch, no performance issues and load times between screens is 2-5 seconds - not bad imo. Game is great so far.

If you want a knock-off Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past with terrible fighting gameplay and no hand-holding or direction and cryptic-ass items and messages from NPC’s…. Look no further! Just beat the first dungeon about 7 hours into it and gotta score the game 8 out of 10 so far!

Teslagrad 1 was unbelievable imo. Couldn’t put it down till I found that a-hole king 👑

@claypool Play Blossom Tales 1 and 2, Ocean’s Heart, Hyper Light Drifter, Anodyne1, Shalnor Tales, and Songbringer just to start. I’ve come to terms that waiting for Zelda is a fact of life but these clones are pretty good!🧝🏻‍♂️🐷🧚🏻

So…bought this day one, Metroidvanias are my favorite genre, played it for about 4 hours, lost interest. Started Cathedral instead, sunk 40 hours into Cathedral. Then 40 hours into Pheonotopia, and Ender Lilies went to the backlog. Just found the game world to be unoriginal and tropy. Someone convince me to give it another try - oh and I also sunk 45 hours in Vigil The Longest Night recently which I would consider at least very similar to Ender Lilies, but the Vigil game world ruled!

I think there is no doubt this is going to be localized. It makes sense because the online version has been going on for over 10 years in Japan and it’s not worth the money to do that project in English nor the audience. But this is a single player experience that most DQ players in Japan have already experienced. This is being made for the rest of the players around the globe. Bring it on!!!!!!

@Thaswizz same here, bought a WiiU in 2014 specifically to get Dragon Quest X. Instead had to settle for Wind Waker HD. And no DQ X for what seems like forever. At least we got DQ 11 S for Switch. But still, make it 2 sad panda bears. 🐼

Purchased it the day it came out, played it and the jumping mechanics were off and the game crashed three times. Have not revisited it but that trailer was so good, it made me buy the game. Hoping they fixed all of the issues.

The beginning is difficult, grinding is necessary,; but if you can get through that part....a 10/10 game awaits!

Ok , I am a Dragon Quest junkie supreme, but I never understood why 5 is always rated so high on DQ lists. Sure it’s good but 3, 7, and 8 are better imo.
But any talk about DQ is awesome 👏🏻 Good list and yes, 11 is GOTY.

Give us DQ 10 pleeeeeeeease!

@BloodNinja I haven’t troubleshooted or updated the firmware. and the main reason I bought it was for the D pad, because I purchased two Nintendo Pro controllers and the D pad left button triggers the up button. I even went on YouTube and followed a video how to take my pro controller apart, put tape on the inside and close it back up and then the tape that I put on the inside was too much and when I went to re-open it, the screws were already stripped so I couldn’t open the pro controller again. I just want a pro controller with a D pad that works! So far it’s cost me $170 between three controllers. What a pain in the butt. But anyway I’ll take your suggestion and I’ll do the firmware first. Thanks!

I love my bit do but it has constant connection issues with my Switch. Makes me hesitant to buy again.

I finally figured it out! So, Hyrule Warriors is in my top five favorite video games of all time. To hear that this game was coming out, my excitement was an 11 out of 10. Picked up the game and put it down three times now. Couldn’t understand why I was not enjoying it being a massive Zelda fan. The missions are way too long, the progression is not satisfying, the combat is too slow and complicated, the mini bosses are a chore, and the script is horrible. Does anyone want to add to the list? Make Hyrule Warriors 2!
