My YT wall keeps getting flooded with all of those click baiting fake exagerated doom and gloom MP4 videos and I'm not even searching for MP4 after I've cleared my search history. lol
Bulging Eye'd tongue waggling mouth gaping thumb nails galore, backed by toobers with zero integradity, lame Video titles riding off the latest gaming trend just for those precious clicks & hits. So annoying.
@SearchingS
Shadow of rose was very average. It stupifies the lore, and made everything too fairy tale-like compared to the actual main campaign. It had it's moments here and there, but i could of easily done without it.
Experiencing RE Village in VR on PSVR2 is the ONLY way to play the game. The flatscreen version felt like nothing by comparison. I hated it. An absolute bore vs the mind blowing highly immersive and visceral VR mode. One of the greatest gaming experiences that I've had in the last 20 years. RE2 Remake(Flat) for PS5(120fps mode) is a 10/10 too. Really enjoyed RE3 Remake(Flat), and loved the first half(The entirity of the village) for the VR Mode for RE4Remake.
But both Village & RE7 in FLAT are dissapointing. They shine 1000 times brighter in VR. 3rd person RE is a much better fit on a TV with RE2&3.
@Bootlicker333
The only thing Nintendo cares about is what's in your wallet. lol
I can't wrap my head around 'team taking' or fanboyism. It doesn't matter in the end. These companies don't care about you. you're just another number, a dollar sign. Be real, open and call it like it is instead of being some hyperbolic glorified brand devotee that spews dellusional toxic positivity.
nobody is getting a shiny medalian in the afterlife for being a devoted fanboy.
I can't speak for Prime 4, but I love what I see, minus the overly large Hub dessert. My Prime 1 experience back on GameCube was like a 6.5/10, where as MP3 for Wii was an easy 10/10. Didn't care for MP Remastered on Switch either. Prime 1 never clicked for me, yet MP3 remains as one of my favourite games of all time, with those incredible VR-like Wii Remote, Nunchuck & SB controls on a TV. back in the late 2000's, that sh** was revolutionary. As long as you had the right TV. Like a big Sony WEGA Trinitron CRT using component cables. Zero motion blur, and no latency made a world of a difference compared to those god awful LCD & LED's at the time.
Prime 1 was a 6.5/10 at best for me personally back on GameCube, and MP3 for Wii was an easy 10/10. Loved that game, even more than Super Metroid. Call me crazy I know. Won't be getting around to playing MP4: Beyond probably some time later next year. Still chipping away at my NS1 backlog.
But based on what I've seen, it's obviously the most visually impressive Prime entry to date and the soundtrack is pure atmospheric heavingly bliss, and I'm really loving some of the newer locations based on what little I've seen. I just wish i could play it with a Wii Remote, Nunchuck(+ Sensor Bar) Sigh, I'll just have to settle with Pro 2 controller Gyro+Stick controls.
Cant' believe Pikmin 1&2(NS1) are locked at 30fps...I won't be diving into P4 beyond the demo, until 60fps happens with a NS2 Edition. The 30fps tarnishes the motion clarity, especially on OLED since the judder feels like it's amplified, and the motion clarity looks 2x worse. It's mud in motion. lol
Pikmin 3 desserves a NS2 edition too at 60fps + 1080p(Currently it's stuck at 30fps + 720p) Still, control-wise, Wii U version will still remain supreme thanks to the Wii Remote, Nunchuck & SB pointer controls, just like Pikmin 1&2 for Wii.
Pikmin 1-3, along with Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 if you're a fan of motion controls just aren't a good match for Switch 1&2.
Instead of Galaxy 1&2, I would of rather of seen an optimized port for Super Mario Sunshine clocked at 60fps + 4K. Until, NSO Wii happens with a Wii remote, nunchuck & Sensor Bar that can be used on NS2 titles outside the NSO service, for SMG1&2, and Pikmin 1-3 than I'll take everything i just said back.
I'm playing this at 120fps. What good is 4K at '60fps' on an OLED TV once everything in the environment, including enemies turns to complete mush the moment you turn the in-game screen from left to right, due to OLED and Mini-LED(Which is even worse due to having a slower motion response time) using sample and hold motion?
120fps gets rid of 50% of the blur and it makes a world of a difference to my eyes. 4K at 60fps will look splended when the screen is static or your'e just moving forward in one direction.
But to be fair, we all perceive motion blur differently. 120fps's 50% blur drop might be very noticeable for some, while just a small improvement for others. Plus 120, also cuts input lag in half which makes the controls feel a little more responsive and snappy, plus 60 more frames which makes the motion or movements more realistic, although 120 purely based on that is not suitable for all games.
MP4 is a perfect fit though, just like modern Resident Evil or games that are just more realistic looking in general.
Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remake on PS5 were so much more enjoyable and beautiful to my eyes running at 'up to 120fps'. Knocking them back down to 60fps made a slight improvement in resolution and overall clarity, but the 'motion' clarity instantly went to complete hell and i was getting 50% more blur which i couldn't tolerate for long...Plus i noticed the aiming was less reponsive and on the dime at 60 too.
This game is in desperate need of a CRT Softening filter. Playing this with razor sharp Square-y 8-Bit-something visuals doesn't look right at all. Yacht Club's Links Awakening merjed with Castlevania. Nice.
@MSaturn
Eh. Presserved with terrible inaccurate CRT filter just like with LRG's Tomba 1, topped with noticeable input lag, has me chasing for the actual discs to play on the original hardware instead.
This is just a more convienient inexpensive way to play it, but it wont feel as enjoyable to play, and you wont get it's authentic softer more cartoonfied look on a CRT if that's your bag.
Although I'd love to see Saturn's Astal getting a NS port. But it's just going to be the exact same case vs the real thing like i mentioned above.
@LightSpirit Roboquest VR for PSVR2 or Quest 3? I'm still holding off until it gets patched with 90fps. 60fps creates motion duplication in VR unfortunately, and 90 is the only current way to get rid of it.
@ear_wig
Every fighting game practically has a learning curve, and so should racers. Ya, I don't get it either. I see that as a pro. Which translates NL's score to a saucy 8.5.
@Olshmelly
I'd rather just watch the 1989 Legend of Zelda Cartoon and enjoy Surfed out Link, who comes across like DJ Tanners BF Steve from Full House, along with it's magical surreal larger than life cartoon world, topped with it's NES SFX etc, than what this live action adaption seems to be shooting for.
Ok, I'm just hyperbowling a little here. Slightly. lol I'm curious to see the trailer like we all are. but so far, I'm not digging how grounded in reality it looks judging by the screen shots. Link especially looks good for what they're going for. And at least they're no names, instead of getting smacked in the face with Tom Halland Link.
And am I the only one here who hated that CG Mario Move? It was so by the numbers, boring, formuliac and beat per beat. I recently rewatched the live action SMB movie from the early 90's and i thought it was way more enjoyable. Still, the SMB Super Show still reigns supreme. That show was gold back in 89/90'
