Always loved geography as a kid. And cartography obviously went well with this. Allegedly i was directing family road trips with the road atlas from a young age so well my dad stopped learning routes and now has no idea where he is going lol. So i used to love pouring over video game maps. Especially when they were published in mags and official documentation. That might have even encouraged my love of geography and maps even more. I sucked at zelda though haha.

Ahhh lots of games there I had too! I ended up with many initially as my mum just got them for me as part of buying the GB package or the shop assistant saw here coming from from a mile off. The T2 game? Oh my god how utterly unforgiving and hard. I still remember almost beating it once and loosing at the last inch and never going back to it. R-Type was absolute nails even paired down for the GB. Star trek being a Trekkie one I loved but god it was too long. A lot of these I only ended up beating with the game genie. So I guess I never really did beat them. But finishing super mario land? That was worthy of song. I was shaking by the time I beat that haha.

I also seem to remember space precinct being on TV in the background. Or maybe thunderbirds... That shows you my age.
