"At the start of this year, Fishing Star: World Tour was released on the Switch eShop across all-regions.
If you've been holding out for a physical release, you're in luck. Aksys Games will be releasing a hard copy later this year in both North America and Europe. The game will be priced at $29.99 in the US. This information was revealed at Anime Expo 2019 by the developer, WFS."
The Launch Trailer (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B71FzQsMuBA) has a comment saying: “The game has 2 tutorial mission plus 15 campaign missions, Custom games on 5 detailed maps with 8 game modes (Free for all, Deathmatch, Survival,Free roam, Last team standing, Last man standing, Capture the flag and Destroy the base) , 33 fully upgradable planes, skins and badges which can be unlocked by performing in game activities, Simulator/Arcade control modes + accelerometer, you do get to land, but there are no in game stats”
@Flowerlark it’s very chill about everything. Maybe too chill. Like I can see how people can say there is no motivation to do anything.
But -shrugs- from my very small hour with it so far and what I’ve read, it’s harmless. Just seems like a game which is trying to do too much and probably fails to do any perfectly.
For example, it can boast 300 people in the city, but none have personality (well there are 64 personality types but I’m not sure they differ much). Like I don’t think they will be your friend unless YOU speak to them a lot. I would love if they came up to me to talk a lot. Show interest in me haha!
Atleast when they are your friend, they come up to you and ask to fish with you.
But overall, I would urge people to wait until they show their Premium Content and update plans.
The mobile game-turned Port is a red flag for me, as is the promise of Premium Content, such as “Magical Makeup (a magical cosmetic item that changes your appearance or that of those close to you)“...but like you I am interested so I caved.
Amazon: "Zelda is the princess of Hyrule and the namesake of The Legend of Zelda games. Her appearance may change, but she always plays an important role. She knows much about the Triforce; in fact, the only person who likely knows more about Triforce lore is Ganondorf himself, whom Zelda evaded in Ocarina of Time by transforming into her alter ego, Sheik."
Still, I like Tesco's version better as they actually recognise Captain Falcon, which is more than Nintendo does.
@Lord I think MonHun has become sort of like Pokemon in which they enjoy that the community can meet up locally and play together at events like Expos and things.
"Peter is currently making delivery number 46, you are delivery number 51. Peter is approximately 15 minutes away from you. You can watch Peter's progress on our map."
Peter, hurry the hell up! I've seen you driving around Charlton all morning! Hell, you've been right next to my round a couple times! Sort yourself out!
@Emblem Yeah, but if there is any game which i'd appreciate not having to change carts to play, it's Mario Golf due to the pick-up and play, especially with Kirby coming out in 2 weeks and Tomodachi Life next month.
Gonna get £50 eshop credit for Mario Golf and it's DLC. Will be my first Digital Full game which wern't free. Mostly because i'm thinking if I break my 3DS, i'll lose my save and 100 courses, so why not just lose the whole game?
Anyone else notice how slow Eurogamer, IGN and Kotaku are to report this compared to last week's when they reported it to say that 3D World is a failure?
Seems good news for the Wii U is slow to get to them as always.
Well Eurogamer also reports the bad news just as much.
On another note, last gen I got a Xbox 360 and felt like I fit in with society, but it wern't that a tight, social community.
Now, with the Wii U, I feel like i'm in a tight community of people, especially with Nintendo Life and the Miiverse. So that's a plus side. Hope more peopel join our clan soon though because I love how social the Miiverse can be at times.
If it continues this slump, i'll be okay with it though as I love the community around the Console.
@Jimtendo Give Samus a love interest with muscles, remove any sense of exploration, give her an AI companion to open doors for her and we might have a winner on our hands...
...or you know, just make Prime 4 with Multiplayer like Unreal.
@ecco6t9 A better idea: Do what Devolver Digital did with the Serious Sam Indie Series and let a couple Indies develop games for a lesser known franchise like Ice Climber or even Game and Watch in preparation of Smash Bros U. It would help indies and Nintendo with advertising themselves.
@triforcepower73 If it looked like that, I think it would become more Horror
@Jimtendo "It is the first 3D game in the Metroid series and the fifth main installment, and is classified by Nintendo as a first-person adventure[3] rather than a first-person shooter, due to the large exploration component of the game and its precedence over combat."
A multiplayer segment like Metroid Prime: Hunters, but better, would be good. Like a nice side-dish to the First-Person Adventure Main Meal which is the Single Player.
@Burning_Spear I've not seen anything from 3D World besides a few pictures and the E3 things, but hopefully at the Eurogamer Expo tomorrow i'll get to try it out.
I first learnt about Nintendo Life at last year's expo, so i'm happy to say that i'll be there again this year to check out the Wii U games and the Nintendo Life Area.
IGN: "Yes, Game & Wario is a series of mini-games. There’s no way around that description, despite the fact that Nintendo (who co-developed the game with Intelligent Systems) has promised plenty of depth within each concept. In some ways that immediately assigns a certain value upon the game, despite the fact that much of what we saw and played was intuitive and engaging. We didn’t fall in love with every idea, but for every mediocre ‘Taxi’ we got an addicting ‘Gamer.’ For us, that’s a balance we’re willing to accept.
The question that remains is this – how compelling are the final 11 games in the Game & Wario arsenal? Will they turn out better or worse than what we’ve already played? Up to this point, Nintendo Land seems to hold a more ideal collection. But we’ll see. Nintendo says Game & Wario will be out "within the first half of 2013.""
And they looked at 5 games, so the final number is 16 games.

@Flowerlark I wrote some findings here: https://www.resetera.com/posts/5430241/

Re: Nintendo Confirms Mario Golf: World Tour DLC, Pricing and Release Schedule
@Doma. I think they delayed it for a year to give the 3DS more 2014 releases. And Camalot decided to make more courses during this time.
Can't complain with basically twice as many courses for 50% more money.
