Re: Gaijin Games: Runner 2 Fix is On The Way

I haven't experienced this problem at all. o_O

This game is fantastic! There's only one nitpick I have with it: My high scores are removed and replaced by my lower high scores. Say, for instance, I played a level and got a high score. Then I went and played it again but didn't score as high. My old high score is gone and now replaced by my new high score. What's that all about?

Re: Activision's Bobby Kotick Is Disappointed With The Launch Of The Wii U

That's what you get for making it available on the Wii as well. Why would parents get a brand new system when they're already gonna invest a lot in a new game + toys? Suddenly, keeping their Wii around makes a whole lot more sense.

But if it was released just for Wii U and not Wii, this could wind up being a system-seller.

Another day in bad business decisions.

Re: Review: Balloon Fight (Wii U eShop / NES)

Well, I can't call myself a nostalgia addict, because this is my first time ever really getting into the game. It deserves way more than a simple 5. The only thing I could see it getting docked for is the noises from the first two modes. But Mode C, Balloon Trip, is pure bliss. The whole game is quite addictive to me.

(Edit: I could also understand it being docked for 50hz or whatever that is, but this is the US version being reviewed. I disagree with the reasons in the review.)

Why do people whine about others whining? It's just others sharing their opinion about a review, which they are fully entitled to.

Speaking of which, you can also get to the save state screen by pressing ZR. Kind of useful since the Pro Controller doesn't have a touch screen.

I wonder how you get there with the Wii Remote...

Re: These Video Game Pumpkins Are Ghoulishly Effective

The bottom ones are easy to do. In fact, I've done Mario, Bowser, and Wario. There's a website called Zombie Pumpkins or something like that, where you download the print. Print it out, tape it on your pumpkin, then punch little wholes around the outlines, making it easy to cut out in a "connect the dots" kind of way.

It's really fun!

"As long as Nintendo doesn't make games for smartphones." - some person near the top of the comments.

Excuse me, why not? I don't see a single reason why Nintendo shouldn't. It will only reach out to people with smartphones and help bridge the gap, not to mention that it could help them develop an interest in other Nintendo games. Sounds like a win-win to me.

Also, remember all the mini games for New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario 64 DS? Nintendo could fix those up for smartphones, sell them individually, and make a killing.
