Re: Feature: Nintendo Life's Top 20 Wii Games

"What could possibly be better than Super Mario Galaxy? Its sequel, of course."

I'll have to disagree with you there. Though don't get me wrong, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a fantastic game and I enjoyed every moment of it, it doesn't hold a candle to the mind-blowing awesomeness that is the first Super Mario Galaxy.

I'm burnt out when it comes to Pokémon. Soul Silver was the last hurah for me. Good ol' Johto...

Looking forward to seeing the 3DS versions though. They just might rekindle my interest in the series. Only time will tell.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Focus on the 3DS eShop

Moonhillwat

I'm extremely disappointed with Nintendo not releasing GBA games onto the Virtual Console yet. They could make a killing by rereleasing games like the Super Mario Advance series! Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. A Link to the Past. Third party games like the heap of Final Fantasies.

Man, that would be awesome.

Re: Review: Cave Story (3DS eShop)

I already own and enjoy the DSi Ware version on my 3DS. Widescreen, a few extras, and 3D effect aren't enough incentive to get me to pay two months worth of recycled cans and bottles again. Now, if they were awesome and would let me upgrade to this version at a discount, I would most definitely consider it.

But noooooo....

Re: Talking Point: The Possibilities of New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC

Moonhillwat

I really like this idea, to tell you the truth. Gone are the days when I have to wait forever for a sequel (like I did after getting the first NSMB and had to wait years its handheld sequel), and instead I can get my fix with DLC!

If you ask me, this is a very smart move! It will also give these newbies lots of experience for developing future Mario games!

Re: Fatten Mario's Wallet with New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC

Moonhillwat

A lot of the comments on the YouTube video are very negative. Hardly anyone seems to understand that New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a complete game and that this isn't something that was held back from the game at all, but was designed after the game's release. It's also entirely optional content that in no way affects the main experience, which is complete. Some people yet are hatefully saying that this game shouldn't have DLC at all. Why? What is so wrong with that? I can't enhance my experience of this game just because you're an arrogant prick and don't want me to? These are the same people who complain about New Super Mario Bros. 2 being "too samey". Well, then why would you want this to be a new game instead of DLC?

Pfft. Fanboys rarely make sense.

Re: 3DS System Update Locks Out a Lot of Flashcards, Permanently

Moonhillwat

Well, gee, Nintendo. If you'd just lower your prices after a while (Mario Kart DS is STILL 35 bucks) and release DS titles on the eShop, along with releasing more handheld games (especially GBA) instead of releasing them at a trickle that is slower than molasses, perhaps you wouldn't have such a big problem?

Re: Talking Point: Are Wii U Games Going To Be Too Expensive?

Moonhillwat

I don't care if games were even more expensive back in the day, and I don't care if $60 is a great value considering how much is put into making a game. Sixty dollars is still sixty dollars. And that is a LOT of money. Twenty dollars more than I'm comfortable with paying for games.

Re: Nintendo Lists Game Boy Advance Title for 3DS Virtual Console

Moonhillwat

Indeed, I have lost my faith. I was unfortunate not to be able to get a 3DS until last Christmas, so I missed out on the Ambassador program. It still greatly pisses me off that I can't even purchase the games on the eShop. It's ridiculous! Shouldn't them being free for ambassadors be enough? But no...
