Besides, thinking that Nintendo isn't releasing more NES/SNES games to make people pay for the upgrade is kinda dumb. And also makes absolutely no sense. I pretty sure the reason is, there aren't that much games left to release anymore.

It may be dumb and childish, but things like that are pissing me off. Same as, when i worked in retail and someone asked me, if we have Zelda for Playstation (or Super Mario, or Pokemon).

I never was thinking about if a game is short or not. What counts (for me) if it is fun or not.
Also, what does "short" really mean? Super Mario World did entertain for weeks and maybe months, but in reality it was only a 10 hour game at most.

Odd. I'm pretty sure I read an article here, that Crysis Trilogy isn't coming to the Switch. 🤔

I really liked the gameplay and the atmosphere, but Samus' character and that "You can only use that, if I say so!"-bullcr*** was absolutely dumb and improbable.
It maybe would have worked in a prequel or something, but given what Samus already had experienced, it was very unrealistic.

I haven't played the game yet, but if you talk about the E.M.M.I. counter attack, I am pretty sure, you're not supposed to counter it easily (if at all). Of what I heard and saw, it's more or less luck if you counter an E.M.M.I. attack.

It's only the definitive edition, if you can play it with a N64 controller.

I wouldn't spend 350€ just to play in handheld mode.

EDIT: Personally, I see the benefits more in tabletop mode.

Metroid is not and can not be a "Metroidvania". 😉

I tried the demo, but it isn't for me. Just hate those floaty controls (which sadly many games nowadays have).

In my opinion, Paper Mario: TTYD and Paper Mario: TOK are the best two games in the series for different reasons. Maybe TTYD is better, but I would need to play both games back to back, to make a definite decision.

Unless you only want to play just a couple of games, NSO is way cheaper. Additionally, you can try games, which you probably never would have bought/played and maybe discover a gem or two.

I say it will be 5,99€ a month, 9,99€ for 3 months and 29,99€ for a year.

My main issues are that the term makes no sense for any game which is not a Castlevania and that many people are assuming, a "Metroidvania" is automatically a good game.

What "vania" part? There is not really a "vania" part.

Only Castlevania games with the exploration parts of Metroid games are Metroidvanias.

So essentially it is:
1. Metroid Prime
2. Super Metroid
3. Metroid Dread

I guess, this is with the standard (vivid) setting? Personally, I would definitely turn that off.

At least the Switch version they could call "HAHAHA SUCKERS! 23". 👍

If you're referring to this: "Metroid Dread will finally be in our hands in just two days' time, ...", they clearly meant "in our hands" as in the hands of gamers as a whole and not just the Nintendolife staff.

According to Famitsu, Metroid Dread is as good as that eFootball game. 🧐
