@Woomy_NNYes Even if his face looked less swollen it wouldn't change the shape of his nose or his hair. His skin colour is different as well. Its a different guy.
Did the author of this piece do any fact checking before posting? The story is a fake and if you actually check the picture you’ll see its two different guys, unless the guy had a nose job in the same month he lost all that weight.
This could be a fun little arcade racer like ridge racer and burnout, but it all depends on the handling. So far it looks a bit twitchy but if Eden can sort that out and there is enough single player content Ill pick it up. The iOS version of the game was well reviewed so the foundations seem to be there.
As I mentioned before this has nothing to do with Nintendo banning the game or not wanting it on the system. The issue is with Limited Run Games being the publishers. Nintendo won't manufacture the cartridges for such a small print run. Cartridges are more expensive and complicated than Blu-rays so they are not going to make a small run of 2,000 copies or so for some niche game that wont even make it to retail and will sell out within minutes on the publishers website. Heres a tweet from LRG themselves about the issue:
Theres nothing stopping the developer from releasing it on the switch as an eshop only title, unless theres some clause in the contract with LRG that prevents them from doing that.
The main problem was Nintendo not allowing limited run games to publish on the switch rather than problems with the content of the game. In this case Im happy with Nintendos stance as I personally hate LRGs business model of only making a few thousand copies which sell out within minutes on their website.
Kind of glad they are not amiibo as that means I won't have to buy them to unlock content. The designs just do not click with me and I have no idea why Nintendo allowed Ubisoft to mix Rabbids with the mushroom kingdom. The game itself likes great, but man that Peach Rabbid makes me want to gag.
I thinks its worth pointing out that this is not the situation all over Japan, just the big cities like Tokyo and Osaka. I live in Tsukuba and was able to reserve a switch yesterday without any problems at all, no lotteries or anything like that, when the store gets a delivery they'll put one by and call me.
Also chances are that some of those people in line are just scalpers and yakuza, there was a similar problem with Playstation VR (which has been sold out since constantly since launch) where there were homeless people being paid by yakuza to line up to get tickets for the lottery.
The biggest problem Nintendo face is the lack of games. Japanese devs have pretty much given up completely on the system and even the strongest supporting western devs are dropping out as well. With the PS3 that was never a problem, no matter how badly the system was selling, third parties still blindly put all of their big games on there.
What Nintendo needs to do is either buy up some developers or carry on arranging partnerships similar to Platinum Games as its pretty clear at this point that third parties have no interest in supporting Wii U, no matter if Nintendo do manage to turn things around.
To be fair I think Nintendo are getting better, all of their recent 3DS eShop games have been priced at £34.99 now instead of £39.99, while buying the physical copies from places like GAME are a bit more expensive. I think the main issue is with the older games that need a price cut. For example Ocarina of Time, Starfox and Pilotwings are still £39.99 on the eShop, even though they have been out for years they are still more expensive than new titles. If they were lowered to £19.99 they would be much more appealing.
I really enjoyed LoS but I do prefer the GBA and DS games. I can understand why they would want to shake things up a bit but I dont see why we cant have both styles of games that would keep everyone happy. Nintendo have been doing this with the NSMB series and the main 3D marios. Have the LoS type action games every few years and have a more traditional style 2D Castlevania digital release in-between.
