@wiiware quite honestly, one of the reasons I've bought games on switch vs PS5 was the convenience of the game on a cart. Not dealing with huge HD installs was a big ++ for me. Time to give Sony my share of Nintendo money

It looks fine, if anything the excess lighting is distracting and makes the entire game look washed out. It would be fine if the switch had HDR output but as it is it just makes things look washed out. The improvements seem fairly minor tbh. I'll stick to my wii copy on the old wii-u

I'm enjoying the mix of remakes and new entries into octopath/BD, heck they even managed "Triangle Strategy". They should stay on the path 😄

They couldn't even bring the latest version of the game. In typical tales fashion, it's cash grabbing season.

I'd love a remaster of all the PS3 ones, if only they'd properly include all dlc and perhaps Xilia & the sequel in a single release

Pokemon has always had a pricey value proposition, what with two types to buy, with how DLC worked in the last gen, it made it even worse. Seriously, if the yucky DLC format didn't feel like a rip off I'd be more likely to forgive the lack of innovation.

Yes, it looks nice BUT it looks like sonic doing random things in PSO2 new genesis.

So... Play PSO2 the way it's designed or play it with Sonic?

I'll wait to see how it performs technically, as well as those pesky loading times. If it doesn't cut it, PS5 it is. Really hoping the switch version will be great though, really want to play it while mobile.

@BenAV exactly. This feels more like a refresh just because they need to diversify their hardware component sources (this being able to ship out more units during the current shortages) and then asking the end user to pay for it.

@FlashmanHarry to top it off, they are comparing a $200 device at FHD vs a $50 device at 720p even though the device is capable of broadcasting 1080p. It's preposterous.

The whole article feels like a review to a device they had already written off. After all the reviewer doesn't feel there is a market niché...

The DLC route is perfectly fine as long as the DLC was attached to the account/system and not a "version" of the Pokemon game you started with. Making players buy the same DLC twice if you own both versions of Pokemon I'd a bit dirty if you asked me.

@HotGoomba I get a feeling you probably had little to no respect "from him" to begin with, but with the shoddy grammar & demeanor... 🤔 Yeah, probably zero. Have to say I'm surprised to see you say you lost "most respect" though, curious as to what merits what little respect you got left.

Even though Galaxy 2 took a simpler approach, it ironed out some of the "kinks" in the first one, thus making it a superior game IMO. But all in all Sunshine was inspired and simply magic, an absolute breath of fresh air from the old jump-jump formula, thus taking the cake and the crown.
