Sounds good. I quite liked the first one, although it could've been a lot better. Here's hoping this turns out awesome
Oh, and the online is sounding better than ever. If there's one thing even the biggest haters have to agree with, HVS is doing the best job with the Wii's online.
@46: No, I don't care that they changed it. I don't intend on buying this as it is, I just think that if they honestly feel that "War for Cybertron" is to intense for Wii, they have some serious issues.
@JakobG: Well, sure it's selling like mad and ninendo's making butloads of money, which is I guess the point, but as long as it continues to work, the Wii will get more and more, to be blunt, terrible.
I totally agree with slapshot82. Walk down the ps3 or 360 isle, you'll see a bunch of "mature" games, some of which are crap, sure, but most of them are very fun. Walk down the Wii isle, and you'll see tons of "Family" this, and "My first" that, almost all of which are crap. It seems that anything with family friendly attributes is allowed on the console, no matter how terrible of a game it is. And a lot of the blame goes to Nintendo. Why is there such a lack of quality control when it comes to Wii games? And when a game tries to break this trend, it's almost entirely ignored. Now, don't think I'm just an angry fanboy or whatever, I'd be the first one to defend the Wii against a comment just like this, but it's getting a little out of control. If Nintendo keeps this up, it'll get to the point where even Metroid has you raising a kitten.
Anyways, it doesn't matter what the name of the game is, it'll probably be terrible.
Is there a way to set a grid in the graphics creator? I ask because I'd like to make some pixel perfect retro games, but when watching trailers, the graphics creator is placed over a moving background, which I imagine would make it hard to be accurate.
I can see what he means (and I'm thoroughly surprised that Sony didn't just go "WE'RE FU**ING AWESOME! WII IS A TOY!" and actually had some creative criticism), but honestly, if anyone can pull this off, it's Nintendo, and they won't just pull it off, they'll make it the best damn thing we've ever seen.
I can picture Gaijins now. You control the paddle on the left side, and have to hit a single beat, which will vary in speed and designs (blinking green, normal, size changing blue). Either that, or I'll have to make it myself. Either way, this news pretty much locks down my need to buy this.
@Corbie (post 4): Sort of like how levels have to go through EA first in Boom Blox BP?
I really wish they'd stop coming up with a million new pokemon and try to refine the games a bit. So far, every single pokemon game has been pretty much identical. But, I suppose that's just my opinion.
I actually love this game. It's good fun, and in no other beat em up can you smash a clowns face into the ground. Although the bosses can be cheap, they become a lot easier in co-op. Ah well, to each his own. I'll probably wait until (and if) they release the arcade one, since it's quite a bit better.
I'll get it once it's cheaper, but only if there's some sweet extras. If it has a museum of sorts (like in Sonic Gems) then I'll be getting it.
You know what'd be sweet? If it had online, with one person being Tails and the other Sonic, but Tails now had his own screen, instead of having to be in the same place as Sonic.
Although there's nothing for me here, I must say it's a great selection this week. Especially with ZAMN, which is an amazing game. I own the cartridge, but I'm unable to play co-op since one of my SNES controllers is broken D:
There's no reason for it to be a remake. So far, digital remakes have all just been graphical updates and minor extras. The graphics on the original are already high quality.

Ugh ... looks like I shall continue to wait for Runner ...
Re: Review: Zombie Panic in Wonderland (WiiWare)
I kind of expected an 8 at least, but I won't be getting this anyways. Gotta save for Runner
Re: Monster Hunter 3 to Feature Regular New Online Quests
This game will steal my life. I'll wake up one morning after playing some MH3 and realize I'm 63.

Re: Transformers: War for Cybertron Deemed Too Aggressive for Wii
@42: No, it's not that they changed the name, it's that they thought it was necessary to change the name. It's retarded.

Re: Sony: 3D Handheld Gaming Might Not Work
Very true, Burning Spear. I expect beyond-excellent games from the big N, but whether 3rd party devs can do the same is unknown.
Re: Sony: 3D Handheld Gaming Might Not Work
Did they actually say that? What freak of nature is too old for a lollipop?

Re: First Impressions: Cave Story
Is going to have any form of multiplayer? Cause that'd seal the deal for me.
Re: First Impressions: Bit.Trip RUNNER
As a big fan of all 3 games, I must say this looks like it could be the best.
Re: Review: WarMen Tactics (WiiWare)
At least Dragon Master Spell Caster had a catchy name.

Re: Ubisoft Bringing Ghost Recon: Future Soldier to Wii
I liked far cry ...
Re: Blaster Master: Overdrive Coming to WiiWare on Monday
One problem: The sidescroller parts (when not in SOPHIA) look painfully slow.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th & 10th February 2010 (Japan)
Nectaris has me slightly intrigued, but I have to save my next card for Bit.Trip Runner and Sonic 4. Oh, and maybe Mega Man 10.
Re: Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?
I don't buy it, but I'd love to see it happen.
And I call bull on all you guys saying "If he's in this i won't buy it." Yes you will, so shut up.
Re: Phoenix Wright May Still Appear in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom
I suck at fighters, but for whatever reason, I'm really hyped over this game :/
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th January 2010 (North America)
Ghoul Patrol is VASTLY inferior to ZAMN.
Decent update I guess ...
Re: SEGA Confirms Alton Towers Tie-In
Awesome.
Re: Ubisoft Slices Sales Predictions for Red Steel 2 in Two
Same as Objection Blaster. Also, doesn't this come with a Motion Plus?
Re: MadWorld Director Interested In Stab At Sequel
I quite liked the songs in MW. Anyways, all I want to see is more of the same.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11 January 2010 (North America)
I'm only interested in Chronos Twins. If it gets a good review, I'll be picking it up.
Re: Nintendo No Longer Publishing Metroid Prime Trilogy in US
Well sweet. I like my gamecube even more now
Re: Nintendo No Longer Publishing Metroid Prime Trilogy in US
Got it a few days after release, so I'm good.
Also, the platinum gamecubes are limited edition?
Re: Tuper Tario Tros: A Mario/Tetris Mash-up
Found this on OneMoreLevel a few days ago. Good fun.
Re: Nyko Bringing Wii MotionPlus to Wand+
I like the way it looks. Especially the bigger home button . I do kinda dislike the Dpad. I may buy them if they get good reviews.
Re: Time Split: Chronos Twins DX Gets A Date
Looks awesome, but I feel it would have made more sense on DS.
Re: Celebrate The Holidays With Cheaper Sega Virtual Console Titles
I may have to download Gunstar Heroes if I get a card before the end of the sale.
Re: First Impressions: Dementium II
Looks good. May have to pick it up.
Re: Review: Blaster Master (Virtual Console / NES)
I remember playing this back in the day. Good fun. Kinda reminds me of Halo. Will download after christmas
Re: Feature: For Your Consideration - LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias
I agree with Ren. It's so hard to just choose one.
Re: DS and Wii "Year's Worst Platforms"
Meh, I've never once agreed with meta critic. NEVER.
Re: Review: The Combatribes (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)

Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Gets Perfect Score in Famitsu
Perhaps the reason games are getting better scores is because games are getting better? Just throwing that out there.
Re: Nintendo Download: Karts, Blobs, Bits, Shops, Tournaments, PooYoos, Castles, Notebooks and More Plankton (US)
Very good week! I may buy this new Harvest Moon if it reviews well. Not much else here for me, but still a great update!
Re: Nintendo Download: Pokémon, Whips, Fighters, Bowling Balls, Robots, Intersections and Demos (US)
The demos alone make this an awesome week.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Packaging Is All Kinds Of Awesome
Nintendo really likes their fancy packages.
Re: Feast Your Eyes On This Castlevania: ReBirth Footage
Not liking it. I'll stick with my Super Castlevania 4.
Re: Nintendo Download: Zombies, Ghosts, Monkeys, Axes, Royal Bluffs and Even More Sudoku (US)
Although there's nothing for me here, I must say it's a great selection this week. Especially with ZAMN, which is an amazing game. I own the cartridge, but I'm unable to play co-op since one of my SNES controllers is broken D:
Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (Wii)
Wow, read some of the comments on IGN. What a bunch of fanboys, jesus.
Anyways, I'm going to be asking for this for christmas
Re: Capcom Interested In Doing More Retro Games
I'd like to see a co-op mega man.
Re: Brand New Rage of the Gladiator Gameplay Video
Gladiator punchout? looks pretty good. Will have to wait for a review, though.
Voice acting was lulz worthy. Not bad, but still got a few laughs from me.
Re: Earthworm Jim Squiggling Onto WiiWare

Re: Mini Ninjas Prepare A World-Wide Strike
Ugh, it looked good until I saw it was multiplatform. They're probably gonna butcher the Wii version D:
Unless they make all 4 versions IDENTICAL except for controls. I hate how multiplatform games are always like completely different games.
