To be honest I wasn't really a fan of FATE. In fact, I still haven't beaten it, not because it's too hard, but because I just don't feel like it. So I was a bit worried what the next entry would be like. But I'm happy to say I will be buying this the instant I can And what luck, I happen to have 800pts left over!
I've always liked the mario sports games (especially the original Strikers. So much fun.). Here's hoping (not that there's much doubt ) that this'll be excellent :3
I got my uncles old NES along with Simon's Quest, Metal Gear, Metroid, River City Ransom, and Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (along with zapper, but obviously it won't work on my newer TV ). The best part wasn't playing it, but having to blow into the cartridges to get them to work. And then playing it
"... indicating what the game wants you to do with your Wii Remote. (Quiet, back there.)" :winky:? Anyone who goes to The Backloggery will probably know what I mean, other wise just ignore it
Excellent review, once again. Love the sarcasm and harshness of the bad reviews. Always a good laugh.
Why is there NO quality control AT ALL on Wiiware? I mean really? They'd let "Terrible Repetitive One Level Waggle Fest Mini Game And The Search For Something That Doesn't Look Like A Bad Early PS1 Game" through if it seemed family friendly enough.
Totally pumped for Mercs. My favorite part of both games, now with online co-op (well, atleast that's new for the RE4 missions) and 3D. I never think I can be more in love with Nintendo and Capcom, but they always find ways to prove me wrong.
The people who believe Smash Bros is just a simple button masher aren't trying. Despite what people may think, it's actually very deep. Probably more deep than other fighters, which usually just consist of knowing special moves and having quick reflexes.
I like Wipeout the show, but only because I like obstacle courses and people failing at them. The announcers are annoying :/ Anyways, I imagine the game is probably absolute crap.
It's a team effort. As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about.
Super Motherload is multiplayer? Looks like a buy to me! However, it looks to be same-screen which makes me think it's either online only, your tethered to the same screen, or the screen expands as you move apart (like Smash Bros). Hopefully it is local play and online, though.
It could very well have barely anything to do with the game, though. Remember the satellites image for Void? If it IS in game, than damn, it looks great.
I really wish they'd change up the Lego games. They're ALL the same with slight differences. It's getting really old.
That said, this one is a pretty good game. My favorite is still Star Wars, but that's probably because it's the first one I played, and the experience was brand new at the time.
@5: Dude, we knew about Wisps LOOOOONG before this post. And besides, from what I hear, this is actually a really good game. So shut up and stop judging until the game is released, m'kay?
Eh, BIT.TRIP FIRE sounds to obvious for a bit trip game. Some people on the facebook page are saying BIT.TRIP FLUX, and that sounds good. We won't know for a while, though.
Still nothing. I really wish they'd quit with the crappy wiiware games and start giving us more VC. There's so much they could give us right now, but instead they give us ... fantasy slots.
Bah, yet again no good 600- pt game for me to get. Seriously, I've had 600pts saved up for the entire god damned year, when is something worthwhile gonna come out?
@57: People loved Rare because they DID make good games. Goldeneye is AWESOME, and although rather outdated NOW, it was mind blowing back in the day. And it's "sequel" Perfect Dark was even better, and having it on XBLA, it's still an amazing game and holds up against even Halo or Call of Duty.
Then there's Banjo which I've never played, but I hear it's awesome. And then there's Conker. My god, Conker. Not only was it actually a really good platformer, but it was beyond funny, and it broke that "cutesy 3d platformer phase that seemed to be the "cool" thing at the time. Not to mention all the other games like Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct.
They also made Battletoads, which is regarded as one of the best beat em' ups ever. And sure they may be "over rated" but they are most DEFINITELY not "nothing special".
@55: Erm, what Nintendo games have they ripped off? :/
@56: "A delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is forever bad."
Eh, nothing for me ... again. I'd like to see a good NES Game come out so I can spend my 600 pts, or atleast a good Genesis or SNES game that will make me buy more points.

Re: Review: Play with Birds (WiiWare)
Something to do with the birds and the bees, perhaps? But that's REALLY stretching for some innuendo :/

Re: The DK Rap Isn't the Greatest Donkey Kong Song Any More
Yeah, I gotta agree with the people saying this is bad. I found it really annoying, to be honest. DK64 rap is better by a million.
Re: Review: Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)
GT seems to have enjoyed it as well, giving it a solid 9/10 in their review. Can't wait to get my hands on this!

"Fun portable Bondage" - Um ... are you sure you should be reviewing this? I thought this was an E ra-OH, James Bond. Well, never mind then.
Re: Meet the New Voice of Marty McFly
That's impressive. Really spot on. Shame they couldn't get the real deal, but they did get the next best thing. Well done Telltale.

Speaking of games that are like Zelda, I'd like to see Crystalis get a release :/

Re: Super Mario Collection Special Pack Revealed
Eh, I still own my SNES cart, so I'm not too big on this. I'd love to get my hands on that book though.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13 September 2010 (North America)
Is that a GOOD game for once!? Holy cra-wait, no. No it isn't, never mind.
But really, nothing for me again.

Re: First Impressions: BIT.TRIP FATE
So, how exactly does the music play into this game? Does the rail go along with the music, or do the enemies or the bullets or what?
Re: BIT.TRIP FATE Revealed at PAX
Wow, that looks awesome. I really hope there's co-op again. A shooter is the perfect opportunity.
Re: First Fluidity Video and Screenshots Released
Wow, that actually looks REALLY awesome.
Re: And Yet It Moves
Wasn't interested in this, but hey, a free game is awesome.
Re: Telltale Jolts Us with 1.21 Gigowatts of Back to the Future Character Art
Hopefully this won't turn out to be horrible. It's about time BttF got a good game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th August 2010 (North America)
Might as well save up for FATE and Retro City Rampage.

Also, what's with the over use of exclamation marks in several of the posts? Will that really get the point across?
