Re: Nintendo Sure Has Booked A Lot Of Floor Space For E3 2016

JoseAcosta

Well.. it's the same space they had last year at E3. The central area of the vertical rectangle was used for the Treehouse Stage. The small horizontal rectangle (the one above the Oculus area) was used for private tours, interviews, etc. I think they're going to have a similar distribution this year, with the exception that they might try to stage different areas of Hyrule

@Windy Even if not having racing portions is a missed opportunity, for what it is worth, Car Battler Joe is a great game. I'd like to say that the game just wouldn't be able to handle more than X amount of 3D assets at the same time, and they decided to ditch the idea.

@Windy sorry to disappoint you Windy, but.... there's no racing in Car Battler Joe, just battling... I mean it says it right there in the title of the game =/

To be honest, the game could have benefited with some racing portions.

@ECM That's an interesting discovery! I probably never had any issues because I made sure to have enough space in the Wii U internal storage. It still shouldn't happen though, every game should be able to run without any issues on either storage unit.

@Shepdawg1 I did and tried to recreate it but it never happened again, although I remember reading in another review that they had performance issues, but I can't recall where it was.

I should mention that there some frames dropped while playing online with the guys at 13AM Games, but it was probably my connection.

@rjejr I totally forgot about the Nindies promo, to be honest I remember it existed but I couldn't download any of the games since I was at E3. Thanks for the info, will try to update the review!

"Once the full games launch, players get 15 percent off the price of each respective participating game they demo for up to one month after the full game launches. Note that the same Nintendo Network ID must be linked to the Wii U system and Nintendo eShop account prior to the download in order to be eligible for the offer."

That was what they said when they launched the promo, but as far as I know, they haven't announced any updates.

@Wuneye the game supports Wii remote plus attachments (including Nunchucks), Wii U pro controllers and the gamepad, sadly the GCN controller is not supported.
