Worth mentioning that any port of Crazy Taxi almost definitely wouldn't have Offspring or Bad Religion on the soundtrack, entirely changing the experience of playing those games
The big twists are telegraphed in the opening 5 minutes, and the new driving and tank combat - which takes up a good portion of the game - just isn't fun imo
It's hard to complain. JRPGs not-withstanding, all of the truly essential SNES games are now available on Switch.
EDIT: I'm also factoring in the Contra, Castlevania, and Megaman X collections. I can't imagine that Konami and Capcom would allow those games to come out for the online service as well.
@Nickno How would it make sense to have RCR work in widescreen on only one system if it were possible on both?
The Wii's "widescreen" feature for its Wiiware games simply stretches the original low resolution image of these games across the whole of your screen. When you're dealing with large, blocky NES pixels and more fluid sprites and polygons this "stretching" is barely noticeable (note: there are exceptions to this), but games that necessitate tiny pixel-perfect objects like Retro City Rampage look horribly distorted if forcibly stretched too far beyond their natural resolution, hence why the developers of RCR have opted to drop widescreen functionality on the Wii.
The removal of the 'Challenge Rooms' and 'Character Creator' features is a little more puzzling, for now I'm going to be optimistic and say that this is merely due to the fact that Wiiware places a smaller size limit on uploaded games than the XBLA, making it necessary for developers to cut a few non-essential features outside of the 'main game'.

Re: Switch's NES And SNES Games Will No Longer Be Added Monthly
@Chunkboi79 I wasn't a fan either, to be honest.

Re: Random: Fan Proves That Samus' Power Suit Isn't All That Practical
Even as a kid playing Super Metroid I thought of the "suit" as more of a total-body transformation than an actual suit.
In the concept art for Prime, there are x-rays of Samus where her bone structure and internal organs from the neck-down are clearly alien.
Re: Random: Fan Proves That Samus' Power Suit Isn't All That Practical
Unless you're actually Samus and have that thing bonded to your biology like a second skin, yeah, you're going to have a bad time.
Even in the games, the silhouette of her human form fits the varia suit about as well as it does the morph ball!

Bayonetta Warriors. I know she's not Nintendo, but at this point it might as well be
Re: Koei Tecmo Is Interested In Working With Mario
Cool, but it's dead to me if it's not called 'Romance of the Mushroom Kingdoms'
Re: This Is What Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Looks Like In Action
Amazed by the negativity.
1) They've said from the beginning that Travis Strikes Again would not be No More Heroes 3, and would play differently from the parent series.
2) This is the first game that Suda51 has directed since the last No More Heroes. That is reason alone to be excited and have faith.
