Re: Talking Point: How Does Switch 2's Launch Price Compare To Past Nintendo Systems?

@N8tiveT3ch a single income household could take care of all those things when I was growing up. And my father worked construction. We had a house, a yard, always plenty of food, and some video games for the kids.

Definitely not the case anymore. Me and my wife combined make a very solid living. But buying property is still years away for us and it will take both of us do get something we’re happy with.

@hypercoyote for sure. But it’s my opinion that’s why this stuff keeps happening. People are cool with getting gouged just a little more and a little more and a little more. It all starts with “just the tip”. Next thing ya know they’re balls deep. There’s no turning back now.

Re: Opinion: The Switch 2 Is A Powerhouse For The Price

@Gatorclops it’s all good man. I didn’t say it was a rip off. It’s my opinion that 80-90 for a game is not what I want to pay. I’m not the type to put 100 hours into a game. I understand Nintendo used to charge in this range for games during the snes and n64 days. But gas also cost 1.99 or less a gallon then. Life in general costs too much now. There’s not a lot that off sets spending that. I can afford it. I just choose not to.
