Hoping for an RCMADIAX anthology with lots of extra goodies like a SPIKEY WALLS plushy and a keyboard that can only type in block capitals. The combined eShop value is $20 but the physical collection will sell for $180.
LRG is pretty bit or miss for me. They offer a fair amount of middling to sometimes downright bad games that you have to wonder who is willing to pay the physical premium for them.
And regardless of whether the games are good or bad, that physical premium can sting quite a bit when you look at the price on, say, Steam (for a universal platform release).
Here’s hoping they have a good one in the works for switch! Golf Story seems like a deserving title. Maybe it could come with a retro Galf poster.
This is likely a stupid question but I want to make sure based on the screen grabs: Is it still in Japanese? If so, how hard is it to figure out what to do?
@RusevDay Since you've already decided it deserves a 5, regardless of what the site says, does that mean you've played all the kits? Please post your review as I'm waiting for one, myself, but don't have the hands-on experience to award it a score as you have.
Soapbox: Something we know of in concept only, which is many months and possibly years away from being finished, with scant few other details available, may not turn out to be very good.
Anyone have insight into what's driving the PS4 resurgence? Seems like Switch topped hardware for the last 8 months straight but maybe I am overlooking.
LOLZ! Nintendorks! I saw a funny meme about this after playing COD. Once again Nintendoomed and their gimmicks and kiddy consoles. I am very grown up for being in the 8th grade because I am extremely bitter about everything.
There. Just getting some of it out of the way so if anyone else does it legitimately, at least they won't be original.
To the doubters, this game is incredibly fun. I played it on the PS4 and it is a great value for the price, packed with humor, and some mind melting puzzles to boot.
It's only my opinion, but the N64 book was just too heavy on the exclamation points. I felt like I was being shouted out. Good visuals and layout, though.
This was a tough one for me on WiiU. If you like challenging platforming give it a go, but the difficulty spikes in some areas can have you pulling out your hair.
Beyond that, the control isn't as tight as it could be. Clearing some areas felt like luck to me as a result.
The discount just lured me in. So far I really like it. If you're wondering how it plays, my comparison would be if you could imagine Trent Reznor made a vertical version of Bit.Trip Runner.
It's very fast paced and I love the challenge and soundtrack. Perfect for short bursts so it won't add to your backlog so much as sidle on up to it and give it a knowing wink.

How does it compare to the gold standard of Devil's Third?
Re: Diablo III Eternal Collection Officially Announced For Nintendo Switch
Still no third party support for the Switch. Really sad!

Re: Kirby Star Allies Gobbles Up The Top Spot Again In The Japanese Charts
Dom, what are “lifestyle sales” you say you have in brackets?
Also I am surprised that Ni No Kuni hasn’t been a stronger seller.
Re: Feature: The Biggest Retail Games Hitting Nintendo Switch This Spring
I thought steamworld 2 was getting a spring physical release?
Re: SteamWorld Dig 2 And Stardew Valley Are Some Of The Best Selling Indie Games On Switch
But but but...I have it from a reliable source in Ireland that digital only sales aren’t significant. This must be a mistake.
Re: Reaction: What Did You Think Of The Nindies Spring Showcase 2018?
Where were the triple A game announcements?
Sincerely, Sligeach.
Re: Feature: Which Games Do You Want To See In Today's Nindies Showcase?
Would love an all-in-one compendium of RCMADIAX games. Hopefully the title would be in all caps too.
Re: Review: The Final Station (Switch eShop)
I think what you're trying to say, Kishimi8, is that this is another 8/16 bit game. Am I understanding you on that?
Re: Review: Superola And The Lost Burgers (Switch eShop)
Will wait for a physical retail release.

Really solid internetting today, NL.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Thanks I forgot about the MH behemoth.

Re: Hands On: The Future Of Gaming Is Cardboard, Thanks To Nintendo Labo
I would like to place my vitriol here regarding a product not marketed toward me, nor even released yet.
As someone not involved in market research or any level of business I can confidently predict this will fail. Nintendo what are you thinking?

Re: Video: The 21 Best GameCube Games Money Can Buy
Great list, and the many “how could you leave out _____?” comments just underscore what a gem that little purple gizmo was.
For my money, Rogue Squadron or Viewtiful Joe deserve a place but it’s hard to argue what they would bump off.

Still, a solid game with a few warts.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - There Are So Many...
Also, I unmask myself as Slug Geek Ire. Joke was funny (to me anyway) while it lasted. Genuinely sorry if it annoyed you, though.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - There Are So Many...
I'm generally afraid of starting huge games because I know I won't be able to play anything else for at least a month.
So here I am just about done with the main story in Odyssey, a huge backlog of other games....and Skyrim is waiting for me at home.
What have I done?
