I vowed to collect amiibo from the moment they were announced. Shortages caused by greedy scalpers at the start were infuriating. Now? I don't care so much. I buy what I can, might go on ebay once in a while, buy a cheap figure, then wait for the restocks to obtain what I missed.
Honestly, I would have bought this day one, but, let's be real here people. The Wii U simply isn't powerful enough to run this beast. I think Slightly Mad overestimated their ability to port such a "dense?" game onto such a technologically limited system. Doesn't give them excuses to pocket the wii u kickstarter cash, but there are disclaimers (is there not?) that say donate at your own risk. So ultimately, people have no right to complain. Oh well, no big loss; ima get Project Cars for PC.
@Quorthon How is it better? aww, simple really. I get what I pay for. It's just another option. Value for money. Generally the more options the better yes?
But yeah you're right about whinging about paying for online. It's a moot point. I brought it up because the 360 & ps3 set the templates for their successors. I tried it out, had an xbox live gold subscription for a year, & it's not worth it.
It's interesting you should mention them hd remasters, because the original n64 carts are more pricey here in aus than the remasters are at retail. Besides, apart from star fox I didn't play them growing up. Ocarina of time, majora's mask, yeah I remember seeing them all in shops when they first came out, but I never played them. My parents were cheap. This in turn is a moot point because, prior to the wiiu, the n64 was the last nintendo system I had. So I'm missing out on a full 2 generations worth of nintendo content.

Re: Sega Is Focusing On 3DS For Sonic Boom Because It Wasn't Happy With The Wii U Version
Why are people still harping on about sonic? The character hasn't been relevant in over a decade.
He's also annoying.

Good. do it. I live in aus & I'm sick of missing out based on what a bunch of pencil pushing office jockey-dinosaurs say.
Re: Nintendo Hoping That Splatoon Will Tempt Lapsed Fans To Splash Out On A Wii U
@Quorthon Yeah sure; if you like paying full price for previous gen. games with a slight graphical polish to them.
Or paying for online.
Sounds like fun >:/
