NintendoLife is now really snazzy to view on my phone, and as many have said, the FEATURES you've added to the site are really cool. Unfortunately, as a trade off for getting it to look good on mobile this site now looks an abysmal mess on my desktop - it'll be like trying to find the lost diadem of Ravenclaw to get to an article you want. However, this is fine, it just means I'll stick to accessing this site on my mobile, which, honestly, was what I did about 80% of the time anyway.
If they bought this out in Europe and added a bit of penguin customisation it could be a decent little time killer this season. For now, I'll have to stick to penguins like the one in my Profile Pic.
I managed to nab myself a light blue yarn Yoshi (cos' he's my fav) amiibo off the nintendo UK store. £13.99 isn't too bad for them considering the ebay price is about £20.99. Of course, the ebay business in amiibos dies a little each time they do a restock of the rarer ones, which is happening with increasing regularity!
The amiibo situation is indeed now ridiculously good in the UK. I paid £30 for jigglypuff out of desperation after my Nintendo UK Store order got initially cancelled, saw it for £9.99 in HMV at Milton Keynes today! Along with Ness, Greninja, 30th Anniversary Mario, Bowser, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Game & Watch and more. all a mere £9.99, which is even less than the RRP!
Yay, got all 6! What amazes me most (not surprised by only just getting the email from Nintendo, I've grown to accept the incompetence of their email department) is the fact that as of 11:11 all 6 are still available! It would seem Nintendo UK at least have really sorted out all previous issues with stock.
I really struggle myself between dark blues/purples, and additionally oranges/reds. Until now I hadn't really thought about how that could've been a major problem with Splatoon. good to know they're catering for us colourblind people Also a great comments section to work out where in the world people are from based on how they spell colour, ha!
My Jigglypuff amiibo pre-order at the Nintendo UK store got cancelled the day after, despite me managing to get the pre-order in at 3pm dead..... Sigh. I fear for my Greninja preordered with ShopTo now as well. At least Charizard has been dispatched, and he definitely has as I've been tracking him on Hermes since I got the email.
@Tman, actually CC can also mean Cylinder Capacity. I looked it up and Cylinder Capacity is measured in Cubic Centimetres though, so I guess it's all much of a muchness.
Well I'm surprised they're still all available seeing how Nintendo have so far forgotten to limit people to one of each on the 4 of them - went to my basket with 2 Dark Pits as I'd accidentally clicked him twice, but took the other one out as I have no need for more than one. It's certainly interesting that these 4 appear to be less sought after than the two pokes - perhaps due to the fact these ones aren't store exclusives in America? I know it's the UK store but I know a few americans who use the store to deliver to relatives over here to then get them sent over to them.
Well at least today they actually went up at 3. My webpage took 2 minutes to reload which felt like forever, but got the three from the four I wanted, so yay!
Scratch that guys, just managed to get a preorder on Greninja from shopto.net for £14.86, massive bout of YAY! Not sure how many they have left though so you'd likely have to be quick...
I managed to nab Meta from Amazon (UK) for £10.99, possibly the one amiibo I wanted most as he's my main, so I was relieved with that. Greninja is my second main though, so missing out on him thanks to Nintendo opening pre-orders before they said they would has me in a rather foul mood. I've not paid more for £10.99 for an amiibo yet (Have 15 of them) but might have to go over that for Greninja as I really wants :3 Still not paying more than £20 for him, though.
Well I managed to get Jigglypuff, but Greninja had sold out even before 3 as others have said! What a load of rubbish Nintendo. Putting them up early is not cool, nor is not limiting them to one per customer.
@those of you who've had the same email regarding Meta Knight - when did you order him? I put in my pre-order 7th December with Amazon and he's been sent out for delivery today, fortunately!
I don't like the idea of cards personally, as I'm only buying the amiibo I am buying for the figure aspect, however for those who do want to utilise the different bits and bobs the figures unlock in games the cards could prove a whole cheaper alternative. As for those mentioning the Pit figure earlier, my amazon (UK) pre-order of him arrived today. Only cost £10.85 as well!
