@NEStalgia Yeah, that is where Microsoft actually truly wins over Nintendo. They recognize the value of their back-catalogue, not as a way to fleece new customers for games they have already bought once or more times, but actually as an incentive to purchase their new hardware. The Switch barely has any real top quality exclusive big budget games from Nintendo....and instead, a bunch of stuff that can be played on previous console generations.

It's also looking more likely that the Switch will not have an exclusive MarioKart, Metroid or Zelda in its entire lifespan.

@JohnnyC Perhaps a lot of my frustration is with the fact I feel hugely let down by what was an incredibly promising first couple of years on the Switch. I don't buy a new console to play shinier versions of 10-year-old games....and if they do get released, I expect them to be priced accordingly.

@JohnnyC Of course they are good games...but when you look at these games objectively,they should not be priced comparatively with new AAA releases. These kinds of games should be part of Nintendo Online service. when I see the games available on Xbox Gamepass, and even Sony, who are improving free included games, Nintendo just seems to be so out of touch.

@Ghost_of_Hasashi Sega really do not suck, they offer a huge variety of games considered to be amongst the best in their genre.

@Chamver Umm....they put out a whole lot more than 4, and definitely offer a wider genre of games than Nintendo.

@JohnnyC If Super Mario 3D is your game of the year, then Nintendo, and other publishers, have greatly failed.

What is XCOM2? It is yet another Switch game I played years ago.

I think the only SEGA published game I buy these days is Football Manager.

So many games I have already played....seems like most high quality releases on Switch are old games .

@Mountain_Man Fair enough. The game pass has been no hassle for me, and I got to test out a few other interesting games that I had previously overlooked.

Switch just seems to be the console to play all the games I have already played to death.....at a greater price.

Great news, these toy cash-ins are rubbish. Just sell me games, with no nonsense addons, lootboxes or stupid upgrades.

With the way this site has been focusing on shameless click bait in the last few months, and horrible video list articles, I truly wish for the days of decent magazines to come back.

@jtmnm If it's a switch pro....then you are not getting more games on the platform. You are just getting more games on a new platform.

@lvsteven Terrible idea for a handheld console. I travel between continents with my switch fairly regularly.

@PanurgeJr Really, there are rules as to when its ok to say your sending thoughts and prayers? It is ok when it's a US politician, but not ok when they are being sent to a city.....even though the impact of these thoughts and prayers is exactly the same?
Send aid, raise money, offer shelter to displaced victims...these all help natural disaster victims. Absolving yourself from any moral responsibility by sending thoughts and prayers is the true insult here.

It's horrible that they experienced all these disasters recently. Sending pixie dust and singing happy songs to help your recovery.

I really want to set default driving assists so I don't have to keep turning them off for player 2.

I hate games that lock parts of the main game away behind toys and other gimmicks like that. Just let me pay for the game and have access to the main content.
