The only thing I'd want them to add in is like a developer commentary or something of that sort, similar to the Shadow of the Colossus and Ico collection. I don't think extra dungeons would've been necessary either, most people just didn't have a chance to get the game and the prices on the game have gone up so I can see why they would choose this game over the others that are either available on the Virtual Console or are already on the Wii (Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess).
Excellent, Mario is one of the few games that does single-player just as good if not better than multiplayer, especially since you don't have to work out the kinks of when everyone can meet up. What I used to do for multiplayer in Galaxy is the other person grabs the stars and if I have someone else come over whenever you die you switch off.
Dual screens give an entirely different perspective, think of games like The World Ends With You and Mario & Luigi Bowsers Inside story just to name a few, they utilize the dual screens perfectly and it really adds to the experience.
Hmmm...... I worry about if I do end up buying Starfox that some awesome prize will end up showing up and I won't have the coins for it. I'll definitely buy it, just at the end of the month.
I won't lie I cheated before when I was like 10 to get Arceus but it really does ruin games and I never consider cheating or exploits whenever I play games, it takes out the fun and the time you put into a game.
I love Mario but I definitely think that there needs to be a focus on other games as well, as others said, Kirby, Metroid, F-Zero, maybe some new IP's even
I hope this does well because I believe it has the opportunity to actually become a continued IP and it's a brand new Nintendo IP. I'll be picking it up day one, never had the chance to play it but just by looking at the gameplay and knowing Mr. Kamiya's previous works I know it will not disappoint.
The Last of Us actually looks pretty decent to be fair, only reason I'm refraining on buying it is because I know it'll price drop and it's not something I need right away. I also heard some people would get a game breaking bug so I figure it'll be patched by the time I pick it up, very surprised it did that well in Japan but that's always a good thing for the gaming industry.
Local multiplayer is always the best in my opinion but some people just can't find time to visit others houses and that's a reason many want online functionalities for multiplayer.
I agree 100%, they either need to drop it or start bringing some games over that we have interest in. Miiverse has been having this protest and they have the most popular posts in many communities.
All we need to do is create a focus group with all the thoughts for an F-Zero game, I totally agree with all of you that an HD GX with added features like online would definitely justify a purchase, especially since with that they wouldn't have to do anything new in terms of the gameplay, and they could have a studio (similar to the one who did the Ocarina of Time 3D remake) do it so they can focus the main development teams elsewhere, so not many resources are taken up.
Miyamoto only does it when he wants to, look at Pikmin 3! The mans a villain! Just kidding he's awesome, I really do hope a remake is on the horizon though, Majora's Mask is still my favorite Zelda game to date.
Also @Yasume the new Animal Crossing is actually the most unique entry so far, they added in becoming mayor and being able to enact ordinances and create new additions to your town.
I would play this but I still think Monster Hunter works best in a 3D environment. Very convincing though, if I saw this and you told me it was real I would believe you.
I would love to see Majora's Mask given the same treatment as Ocarina of Time with the updated textures and whatnot on 3DS. It's my favorite Legend of Zelda game.
If they fit everything they need to make the game complete on the disk, and decide to just release an add-on such as, say, a new villain along with several dungeons, where it has it's own unique storyline taking place either after the game or what have you, I believe it would work pretty well. I'm confident Nintendo wouldn't go the route of certain companies and have extra content on the disk and instead decide to cash it in as DLC, they'd do it the way DLC was meant to be made.
