I'm not paying $12 for a plastic figure that can only store one piece of data. For that price, you think Nintendo would think that if they plan to incorporate these figures into many other games, the amiibo should be able to support that.

@RancidVomit86 Um you'll notice that you had to make precise movements to perform those glitches, and searching for glitches is not the same as trying to play a game and coming across unknown glitches that break it.

Predictions: Amiibo, Captain Toad, New 3DS, some Wii U bundle that they will end up spending too long on, some Smash news (but not much) with the Duck Hunt trailer, Mario Kart 8 DLC, eShop stuff that no one cares about, N64 (hopefully GameCube as well) Virtual Console, maybe some new trailers of 2015 games (Mario Maker, Mario Party 10, Yoshi's Woolly World, and unlikely, but hopefully, Zelda U), and a possible (but unlikely) new game announcement for 3DS.

The problem with 8-Player Smash is lag...there is even lag with 1-on-1 matches. Can you imagine the lag factor for 8 people?

Nintendo + Disney Channel = My Childhood

I wish Nintendo still did regulare Directs. As of late, they have only been doing game-specific directs, which is fine once in a while for a huge release, but I want the old ones too. In the old ones, it was amazing when they announced a game or gave lots of new details about games, but now while there are surprises, they are not quite the same as "oh, we are making a new Mario & Luigi game."

I think they need to move on from NES Remix. They will start to run out of ideas soon and they series will bust. If they want to continue this series, do SNES Remix!

Since the Platinum rewards SUCKED the past few years, I wasn't as concerned with getting all the coins I earned and let quite a few surveys slip by and expire because I thought there really is no point in being Platinum anymore. If I had completed every pre-play, product registration, and post-play survey, I would be Platinum. But since I didn't I was less than 100 coins from it and just stayed Gold. And now I see the rewards, I am really pissed.

In a way this is like extra marketing for Nintendo.

OK I see why they are showing 2DS games, but why not Wii U as well? They are trying to appeal to the next generation with the 2DS, but if they are going to this much trouble for the tour, wouldn't it be beneficial to also include Wii U games (besides Mario Kart 8)?
