Microsoft and Sony didn"t ever tried "hunting" hackers. Instead for example Microsoft, launched fw updates that detected the hacks used and permanently banned hacked consoles, rendering the banned consoles unable to connect online. Also I remember introducing some smart write techniques on disks, that made pirating games a bigger challenge.
Nintendo does not do anything to counter and close the doorways opened by the hackers, instead they call they're army of lawyers.
Randy and the guys totally ruined Duke Nukem Forever. They had the chance to make it incredible, yet Randy only spat some BS about how much he likes the franchise and that it will be great. We all know how that ended, don"t we. I hope Embrace will lay off Randy Pitchford once and for all.
I played the trilogy and loved it on the 360. Would totally buy it on the Switch. But EA being EA, which are lazy, will not make this happen anytime soon.
@Apportal If this is coming on the Switch or not, we don't know yet, but if it does not you could always buy a GameCube or Playstation 2, and all 3 titles: Prince of Persia, Prince of Persia 2 : Warrior Within and Prince of Persia 3: The Two Thrones, and have a blast playing them with your dad still. You could obtain all of these and any of the PS2 or GC for around 150$.
@Hellaween Well, Square really wants to bring it over to the Switch, but only if they can make it cross-platform, so the Switch users ca play with PC and Playstation user, but Sony are really slow when it comes to cross-platform, games.
As for me, I'm playing Crysis Remastered this weekend.
I bet that, the reason why this hasn't materialized yet is Sony. They are so stubborn on taking the "cross-platform" approach, that it's getting ridiculous.
Square can and they would easily port this game over to the switch, but indeed it is imperative that it is cross platform and that the community is not segmented between the PC/Playstation users and the switch.
Note that this is an MMO and the bigger the playerbase, the bigger the opportunity for the players.
This game is totally worth the 30$ price tag, and I played it at least 3 times, I bought it and will play it on the switch too, and support Crytek and Saber. Maybe if the game does good enough we can expect the standalone expansion, Crysis Warhead, and the next two games in the series Crysis 2 and Crysis 3.
Hell I would love to see Ryse or event Hunt Showdown in the future, released for the switch, as I am a big Crytek fan

Re: Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster File Size Revealed
I'd like to purchase the physical version, but I must admit that I was tempted to preorder it from the e'shop, when I saw it available today.
Re: Star Wars: Republic Commando Is Landing On Switch This April
I would truly love to see the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of Force Unleashed on the Switch, but that's in EA's ball court.

The NA/EU box art is by far, the best looking.

Re: Round Up: All The Nintendo Switch Titles From The Future Games Show - August 2020
@Riderkicker Indeed, out of the bunch, I find Gibbous the most delicious.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 29th)
I have started replaying Bastion and Transistor on the Switch preparing for the drop of Hades
Also will probably play some Crysis too.

Re: Review: Crysis Remastered - A Technical Miracle And One Of The Best Shooters On Switch
@NEStalgia I don't know about being short, add in the Warhead expansion and you get a pretty decent and long FPS.
But then again I am a bit biased, as I totally loved the Crysis franchise and also got to work on Crysis 2, back in 2009.
