Re: Talking Point: Should We Actually Get Excited For Pokémon Day This Year?

DS-DEKU

For Pokémon day I’m expecting, updates for the following: Phone apps, Unite, TCG, Go & S/V raids. Maybe Merch?
A cross collaboration update on Aadman or Netflix Pokemon Concierge season 2.
And big (hopefully a least 10 minutes) update regarding Legends ZA. With at least season release e.g. Summer 2025. Until the full reveal of Switch 2.
Finally not expecting it, as they are probably saving it for next years 30th anniversary: classic titles! Please.
They haven’t released any classic mainline titles (not counting remakes) since Pokémon crystal in 2018 on the 3ds system. I have four possible options that I can think of:
1) Don’t release them again & just sell remakes down the road at a higher price.
2) Available on NSO. Maybe not as save states, or just make save states unavailable for them.
3) Sold separately on eshop. Instant cash for them. They have done it with GB red, blue, yellow & GBC crystal on 3ds.
4) A separate app/purchase so they can fully control all save options, trading, home compatible support & release.
Thoughts?💭

Re: Poll: With No Switch 2 News Until April, Is A February Nintendo Direct On The Cards?

DS-DEKU

My opinion: Probably just Social media drops.
Keeps the Switch audience fed, until April, without distracting from the next system launch (even as hard as it sounds).
A two-three month buffer zone of known Switch 1 titles with release dates, seems like what they been doing. When DKCR HD was a month + out they released the Xenoblade trailers. So when Xenoblade gets close we might get another reveal.

They have been port heavy/remake, granted we’re at the tail end of strong support of the system, so any big ones should keep us content: e.g. Zelda remasters.

I suspect at least one new title. Even in the 3ds transition year we still got a new titles: Samus returns & Fire emblem Echos. My bet is Kirby nearly a yearly occurrence anyway.

Wild card- DILLION’s Rolling western collection.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Kirby Super Star

DS-DEKU

QUESTION/REQUEST for the Nintendolife team: Is there a possibility of showing the winner of the previous, box art poll under the results description section? This would help remind readers of the art instead of trying to find the previous link/page. Even if it’s smaller to not take away from the new article/poll.
Thoughts?
Thank you.
