Re: Flipnote Studio 3D European Release is Delayed

Cloud-San-VII

As much as I hate to say it: .............Yay?

I mean it's too bad it's delayed, but good because that means you don't have to worry about (as many) bugs.

As for NoA (which has been getting on my nerves about many things for quite some time)..............................

I really should be downloading it on my JP 3DS (which set me back about $100 somewhat), but I don't want to pay for it.... Man are we in a conundrum...

Re: Smash Bros. Director Pushing Himself "To The Brink" To Decide Character Roster

Cloud-San-VII

@Shambo
Yeah, when I used to play Melee, it was either them, any of the Pokemon, any of Zelda, or any of Fire Emblem.

Good luck to Mr. Sakurai and hope his arm feels better. You know, I think DLC for characters and stages would be perfect, but needs to be released after the game has been out there for AT LEAST a month and FOR FREE. And I ask that Mewtwo please returns (and my sweet Roy), and if he can't return normally, then please use his new form or have him turn into that or something! Please, I miss my Mewtwo (and Roy (and I'd say Pichu, but I'd rather have Roy)! Also, some new MOTHER/EarthBound would be much appreciated, as will Skull Kid. It's not a demand, but would be much obliged.

Thank you for devoting your time to the fans and hope your arm feels better, Mr. Sakurai!

@rjejr
To be honest, as a bit of a Sony fan, I think that Sony has a lot to show. Sadly, I can only watch the Sony one live because I'll be leaving for school and studying math by the time the Nintendo Direct starts (it makes me pretty sad.... And no, I don't think my Android would live-stream it...... DARN!). Not to mention, the Pokemon is closed doors. But at least I can catch up on it later. An d at least I can watch 1 thing live (it may not be what I prefer, but get what you can get, right?).

Re: Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign Schedule Released

Cloud-San-VII

I. WANT. EARTHBOUND! ...
And Fire Emblem!

I would be okay if they released EarthBound to the rest of the world later, but knowing Reggie, I can't say for certain.
I should know, at the Wii U launch I (some what) got to meet him. He just breezed past all of us in line (I was in the 1st part of the 2nd line, in other words, pretty close to the store) and he said: "If I shake everyone's hand, I'll never make it home. " He had the audacity to say that after he took a while for Triforce (who I also met) and arrived late? No, that's not right. Other than that, it was awesome!

I am going to miss you so much! You wrote so many amazing articles over the years that it will be hard to accept the facts. You had such a good work ethic that you (along with a few other people) inspired me to write a few articles of my own (not here, it's on IGN because I am not an editor on this site. I am thinking about a good Sega article considering Sonic right now.). Good luck at NoE and come back every once in a while! Also, do you mind adding me on your 3DS roster? I am XenoVII and my FC is: 1504-5706-0977. Long live Sega! and In Nintendo Wii Trust!

We here at Nintendo Life will miss you, buddy! I am glad to hear that you got a job at Nintendo of Europe, though!
You have wrote so many amazing articles and reviews over the years and it will hurt to see that you have left. I feel bad knowing that I have not been a member as long as some of the others, so I cannot elaborate on some of the previous things you have done.
When you leave I hope you still come on every once in a while. Best wishes and good luck old friend!

Re: Nintendo Determined to Beat Hackers with Wii U and 3DS

Cloud-San-VII

Why is it that when someone just wants to mod something, it's wrong? I think modding is okay as long as you aren't cheating with it (cough like some of the people who go online cough).
I realize that some modders are bad and some aren't, but the few that are good get penalized with the rest, sadly.
I love Nintendo, but some of it is technically their fault. If they did not region-lock their systems (and I spoke to Miyamoto, the Wii U will be region-locked), some of the pirating would be stopped. Their are some games that won't leave Japan that I want to play, and I won't buy a different regioned and go through that whole process just to play a few games.

Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo Focused on Fun, Not Competition

Cloud-San-VII

I hate most (well, mostly the newer ones) FPSs these days. They are overused, repetitive, and when you really get to it, they are bland.
Take for example a CoD game (which I have been hating for a bit): you play it for 2 weeks saying "Oh, this is the best game ever! Microsoft (and sometimes Sony) is better than Sony (or Microsoft) and/or Nintendo, they're so babyish! This is better than all other genres!" Then "I'M BBBOOORRREEEDDD!!!!!!" and you only play it every once in a while. You need to continuously release DLC to keep them happy, or they will complain like there's no tomorrow. I don't complain about violence, but there's no point in this, it's (mostly) garbage.
Compare this to a Zelda and see what would happen: "Wow! Look at all the awesome.. oh no, a Moblin is attacking me! Hey look, he had the key and SO MUCH RUPEES!! Now to battle the boss and.. OH NO, I died." Nowadays kids are introduced to so much of this garbage that we call FPS (again, not all are bad, just a lot are) that not only are they becoming stupid, lazy, and negligent, but are becoming slaves to corporations.
Miyamoto is right and should be proud for speaking up for this noble cause. And since he is a major influence, maybe there could be hope. I would love for him to make that FPS he talked about, as long as it has that Nintendo feel to it.
I enjoy some of the Halo games and a few others, but most are annoying and overused.

Re: Wii U Will be a 'Great Value Proposition'

Cloud-San-VII

For a standard edition:
$300 USD and has; the Console, the GamePad, the cables and (probably) the Pro Controller and NintendoLand.

For a bundle edition:
$300 - $450 USD and has: the Console, the GamePad, the cables and (probably) the Pro Controller, NintendoLand and/or another game(s).

For a special edition:
$300 - $400 USD and has: the modified Console, the modified GamePad, the cables and (probably) the modified Pro Controller, NintendoLand and/or another game(s).

A standard game should cost: $30 - $60.
A special game should cost: $30*
*(depends on what company wants, and I have seen some pretty crazy
prices on special editions)
A GamePad should cost: $80

This is all speculation, but it seems like an ideal one.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Land's Potential

Cloud-San-VII

At first, I was a bit disappointed (like many if you). But 2 minutes later I realized that this would be a small dose of what Nintendo will/can do for the franchises. I really hope the Super Mario and Metroid are Battle Mii and Chase Mii (I don't care what you call them, I just want them). Takomaru was a great game to be in there as many of you have (probably) not played it before (it's an amazing game in my opinion). Maybe if we try hard enough, it will be a VC and be localized.
Some of the things that I want in there are: Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Earthbound/Mother, Ice Climbers, Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Kirby, Donkey Kong, something with R.O.B., Golden Sun, 1080, Wave Race, Advance Wars, Pikmin, and Baloon Fight. Most of these are unconfirmed but would make great DLC.

Re: Talking Point: The Good and Bad Sides of Moderating Miiverse

Cloud-San-VII

They said that Nintendo Network will run for a few generations. There is 4 circles representing the next consoles that will be using it (2 home, 2 handheld). Assuming each generation is 5-7 years, we will have Nintendo Network (assuming they didn't really change the title or something) for the next 10-14 years (not including this 5-7 years)
