Thanks for that, it does look really good, and I do feel as Nintendo fans we need to get behind these games and buy them.

So an open question to everyone.

I haven't played a JRPG before and am a little daunted by the complexity of it, but this game looks really good. My wii u is currently lacking a game that I can get really lost in so I'd like to give it a try. As a noob is this going to be a difficult place to start?

Uprising for me wasn't justa good game, it was hilarious at times, the banter between the characters made it stand out, as well as the crazy enemy designs. If they made a version of this, in HD, I would buy it no questions asked.

I'm really unsure whether Nintendo will see the financial reward in a Metroid Wii U game. I would just be excited to see what they could pull off in terms of grahics and art style with the power the Wi U has vs the Wii

This is causing some serious internal dilemma, collecting Amiibo has become costly enough and they do very little in game. This looks set to be a really good, diverse experience with some of my most beloved franchises.....I mean Dr Who is just the icing on the blocky cake. Will definitely be taking the plunge on this one.

Oh if only Nintendo did a lego game.

Maybe we just expect too much from Nintendo. Compare their revenues to that of EA which was announced recently as well as others like King and you can see they aren't the dominant force they once were.

Just keep making good games and I will keep buying them.

@abe_hikura Ah ok, I hadn't seen/heard that just yet, ive only seen that you need the motion controls and the screen for jumping across the whole map.

hoping they figure out a way to play online with the pro controller, I really dislike the gamepad for long play sessions

Hoping for a more beefed up local multiplayer. Tried explaining to my daughter that to play together we pop balloons and she was like "what do you mean".

Local turf war required, and customisable paint....tie-dye anyone?

I think Ryu would be a great addition, his move set is already there. I'd still really like to see young Goku in it though.

I wish I didn't want these, and I wish they actually did something tangible and worth the cost within the game.

Its a bit ambitious to want Resident Evil 4 from gamecube on the Wii U....and Rogue Squadron 2.

I am a big Nintendo fan and regularly buy pretty much every game they churn out. I cant however understand why they don't just make their old VC titles available on IOS and Android....yes there are control challenges but if I can play GTA San Andreas I am sure I could play Metroid, Kid Icarus, Mario etc.

To put Nintendo into prespective.....Apple sold 74.5 Million I-Phones in a three month period to December 14...King...the folks behind Candry Crush, generated more revenue in 2014 that Nintendo.

I love my Wii U and my 3Ds but the Big N has to wake up, and selling old games for cheap on a 3DS isn't the way.

You are partly correct, kids have two main influences, parents and friends. My daughter loves Nintendo becuause I own a wii u and 3ds and we play all the time. She is excited for Smash U and the new Zelda. Her friend introduced her to Minecraft recently and she cant get enough of it.

One challenge which hasnt been mentioned is the ratio of male/female gamers. Making a massive assumption here but young boys dont want Yoshi or Kirby(to be honest I dont want these and i'm 27) they want lego batman, GTA, COD and all these other types of games which Nintendo doesnt create and has lost complete third party support for.

I think I am one of the few who is really not interested in a star fox game.

Appreciate it is partly fan service but what they have shown is fairly lacking

Buying an adapted is fine as its new tech, but how can they justify that cost for GC controllers that are like 10 years old, surely manufacturing and component costs are really low...

I still have my Gc controllers so no issue for me but for those who don't its not the best impression from Nintendo.

You are right with the audience reaction, look at how people reacted when MS unveiled the Master Chief collection yesterday.

I think the days of Nintendo having an orchestra on stage playing a zelda medley and the crowd going wild are over.

As if that tech demo was now 3 years ago.

Imagine if Nintendo drop the bomb tomorrow that Zelda Wii U is near completion, with a Holiday 2014 launch....one can hope

Metroid Prime Hunters was my first metroid experience, after this i've never been able to get into the 2D ones, I know there is a lot of love out there for 2d metroid but I wouldnt buy it, I would go and buy a 3ds metroid day 1.

Twilight princess I found a bit bland, The thing I love about Nintendo is they arent afraid to use a full colour palette and I want to see this in the next Zelda

Im hoping this E3 blows my mind just like when they revealed the 3ds.

Two wishes:
Metroid - I know everyone wants this
Zelda Wii U to look like the tech demo they did a couple of years ago, i love Wind Waker and its style but now is the time to drop the Zelda bomb everyone wants

Its an easy decision in my house as my 7 year old daughter is as hyped as I am for Mario Kart and thats our friday evening planned.

I'd like to get Watch Dogs but will be waiting for the Wii U release, assuming its not a scaled back port.

So their financial results are published, doom and gloom ensues, then they drop this bomb and it reminds us why you cannot rule out Nintendo....they keep making em and i'll keep buying them

Does anyone know, will this hit the e-shop at 00:01 on the 30 May or does it usually update in the early hours? Also, white price will this be, £39,99 or £49,99.

I dont want to risk Amazon not delivering on launch day so may go digital just to get Karting as soon as.

I can see this game taking over my life, loved the online with MK7 so playing on the TV in all its glory will be great.

Throw in Wind Waker for free and my balls are ready!

Say what you want about Nintendo but this makes me the consumer very happy!

The only challenge will be deciding whether to play Mario Kart 8 or Wind Waker first.

Assuming this isnt subsequently cancelled for Wii U I am excited for this, and keen to see what they do with the gamepad.....hoping you can create custon paint jobs and share via miiverse

Put the effort in, add multiplayer and launch Fire Red and Leafgreen on Wii U VC and I will buy it.

As a 3ds Ambassador interest is very low for GBA on Wii U.

I still remember opening my 3ds box, on day one, playing the AR games and face raiders and showing everyone I could how cool it was in 3d. Since then my original cosmo blue 3ds has had hundreds of hours of wonderful play time.This is my personal favourite ever console, after my N64.

i can play pokemon stadium on my phone thanks to an emulator, so why cant I on my wii u. Where is Pokemon snap with gyro support.

Probably full of historic licensing issues but where is Turok, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Smash Bros,Diddy Kong Racing........

In terms of the gamecube, how about releasing double dash in the run up to MK8 and Melee in the run up to SSB WII U.

Nintendo are like a younger sibling, you love them but they piss you off so much!

Having got most of these titles as part of the ambassador program I cant help but feel disinterested, I also do not want to play GBa games on my big TV.

When are the N64 and Gamecube libraries going to make their presence known on my Wii U?

I can't help but think this will distract Nintendo from what should be their top priorities, in terms of continuing success of the 3ds and working their asses off to make the Wii U relevant.

I think the massive success they had with Wii and DS may be a curse, with them thinking it can be repeated, and not paying attention to the current problems.

I really want to like this game, played the demo on both Wii U and 3ds but couldnt get into it, found the controls clunky.
