There are plenty of rumours swirling around regarding future fighters and stages for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and one that seems to have slightly more backing among the online community is that of Street Fighter's Ryu being on the cards. Though still far from confirmed, leftover code has some wondering whether the iconic fighter will be Capcom's second contribution to the roster.

We don't need to wait for an announcement - if it's even coming - before we can see how it could look, of course. We have enthusiasts with some video skills to scratch that itch, and Game Chap has pulled together its own fan-made intro that could announce the character. Pulling in animation from previous Street Fighter games and some modded footage of Ryu 'in' the game, fans can indulge in some fantasy. The visuals may be primitive, but it's still a pretty decent effort.
