Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd March 2010 (North America)

Caliko

@AlexSays hi. Since taking stuff for free is ok with you I was wondering if you can email me your address so i can walk in and take your TV and maybe some jewelry and your Wii will also be nice. And please if you can do me a favor ask your mom to leave some baked goods on the table since my stomach is a-garglin.

Re: First Impressions: Metroid: Other M

Caliko

Why couldn't they use the nunchuck for third person/2D movement?? That way when you turn to first person you can move around?? What if I want to shoot a giant alien between the eyes and he moves forward to attack me?

I'm concerned this won't work. I guess I need to play to understand.

Re: Gaming from the Heart

Caliko

"No Feel the Magic: XX XY?"

I was about to complain about the same thing until I noticed this is more of a Wii article.

Re: Big Nintendo News Incoming

Caliko

@warioswoods you're not the only one!!

Most people who bash Wii Music don't know how to play. I should really show you some of my songs. I've made some INSANE remixes. I'm hoping they bring a MotionPlus compatible version.

Re: Big Nintendo News Incoming

Caliko

@Chrono Cross

You missed his point. He means he isn't a crybaby like most of you.

I remember everyone bashing Nintendo when they announced MoptionPlus and now everyones cries because there aren't enough MotionPlus compatible games....

Re: WiiWare Demo Program Demo Ending This Month

Caliko

I have a feeling they're pulling these out now and building a demo service from the ground up to release later.

REMEMBER they only let us download demos to see if it would increase sales. They were testing before going full blown.

Re: Last Flight Bloodies Up Facebook

Caliko

I was just thinking of this game the other day too. I figured it was vaporware since it's by Nibris and was announced before Wiiware even launched. I'm surprised new details have shown up.

Re: Review: Muscle March (WiiWare)

Caliko

Another problem the developers looked pass was the lack of a pause screen or even just a pause.

To return to the title screen or restart a level you LITERALLY have to press the home button and reset the game.

Re: Review: Muscle March (WiiWare)

Caliko

The biggest disappointment in the game is that the only gameplay mechanic is poses. I thought we'd be jumping over cars, ducking, and balancing on tight rope. Otherwise its funny and fun as heck!!!
7/10 for me.

Re: British R4 Card Importer Shipping Off To Prison

MarcusA said "then you need to spend the money to have your product developed, then redeveloped countless times to have it finally passed by nintendo's quality standards."

Then you must really be a sucky developer. Have you EVER played Block Party??!!?!?!??

Re: Near Five Year Development Cycle for Zelda Wii?

Caliko

I remember reading in 2007 some news about the next Zelda being in production side by side Twilight Princess. I remember them talking about building a game for Wii from the ground up.

It has been a dream to play a game that has been in production that long.

Re: Sega: Nintendo Should Support Mature Gamers

Caliko

haha, so this idiot is saying Nintendo should develop a Mature game, spend their hard earned cash on advertising so he can in turn make a "mature" game and it will help him make money??

So now It's somehow Nintendos job to push developers to make GOOD mature titles?? By creating games better than theirs???

Re: Wii Dominates 2009 Sales

Caliko

It shows New Super Mario Bros Wii as number 5! If thats the case then I'm blown away. I mean the game just came out and beat out both Wii Fits.

Re: Intel in Talks with Nintendo

Caliko

It's funny how everyones like "oh you can find the Wii on store shelves now! Time for a new one!!."

Well in case you haven't noticed PS3's have been sitting on shelves since launch and the're still going strong. Don't expect Wii 2 until at least 2011.

Also I too have been waiting for nunchuck plus since the announcement of Wii MotionPlus. Besides that I would like to see built in Motionplus on a soft grip remote. A better speaker(PLEASE!!!) a sensor bar with built in video camera and WiiSpeak and at least 5.1 Dolby Digital! -These things to me are FAAAR more important than graphics.

Re: Nintendo Trademarks "WiiRelax"

Caliko

Whether FPS games are fun or not is besides the point.

I truly believe artistic individualism should be critical in ANY industry. Playing copy cat dramatically decreases artistic value.
How many times do we see this happen in the music and movie industry?

Re: Nintendo Trademarks "WiiRelax"

Caliko

I remember hundreds of "hardcore" gamers bashing me when I said Wii Fit would become more popular than Brawl.

Like the above poster said, only Nintendo could pull this off. It's funny how in an industry cluttered in FPS and "M Rated" clones, gamers still want Nintendo to play copy cat. If Nintendo made a Gears of War clone would that make you happier???

Re: Nintendo Shifted A Boatload Of Hardware Last Week In US

Caliko

@hoff
and Wii Fit is a fad diet!

I remember arguing with a bunch of "hardcore" gamers back in 2007 how Wii Fit would outsell smash bros. (This was before both games were released) It was me vs. 10. They were like "but all gamers want Brawl. It has good graphics and Sonic and good gameplay."
My reply was "but EVERYONE wants to be fit, especially in America. It WILL outsell the incredible Smash Bros.Brawl.".... They thought I was crazy...
