Nintendo is building a deprivation strategy (possibly not on purpose). Leaving gamers (especially Nintendo gamers) starving for new/sequal titles on recently new systems (3DS & Wii U). This in turn seems to be over-hyping and scaring loyalist into hungrily snatching up these titles and boosting sales of the home console. This was also seen during the 3DS drought. A very cleaver strategy indeed, even if it's not done on purpose...
what i find rather hilarious is though is that the second Nintnedo does show off that "New Zelda / Starfox / F-Zero & or Metroid" In full HD with the true power of the Wii U in full effect + Gamepad Support people will be overjoyed like kids on christmas. You all know it's going to happen too thats why i wonder how anyone can be so tunnel visioned on these PS4 and Xbone games they have played over and over and over again with little new features added in each yearly update, new features that arn't available when you first buy the game and come in the form of DLC I might add!
@unrandomsam This is true and pretty much what Nintendo does every single time. People going on about third party games are in need of a wake-up call. Nintendo has not seen strong third party support since the SNES days. Get with the times people. People buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo Games! 3DS is a perfect example of how the Wii U will U-turn when the Big N starts dropping the game bombs this holiday season. Pikmin 3 next month is like a warning shot. These games like "The Last of Us" are great now, but when you look back on it in 10-15 years, think of how corny people will perceive it.
best played with headphones.... Anyone remember how creepy Nightmare (the gravity suit boss) was? And what the heck was up with the crazy chozo that was like entangled in vines? This game presents one of the most ominous atmospheres the gameboy advance has to offer.
Even if Nintendo did go under, the long term shockwave that would travel through-out the industry would literally cause the foundations of gaming to crumble. 5-10 years later gaming as we know it would begin to decline from lack of interest, creativity in games, and ground breaking hardware innovations. Sony & Microsoft would back out of the industry the moment they seen this decline begin to happen.
I know if i can't have my Nintendo consoles & games, i won't game at all.
I (as well as many more I'm sure) was raised on these games.
Not to sound like a graphics adorable fluffy kitty but to be honest looking at these screen shots, it seems to me that this game was developed on the original Wii and has only been up scaled to HD. I expected at least some decent bump mapping textures on the ground since the camera seems super zoomed in on the pikmin and main character.
Nintendo is taking their time for sure on flexing the Wii U's muscle....

if casuals help drive the system sales, i can stand to see a bit of shovelware on the shelf next to more hardcore titles. I long for F-Zero and Starfox....

Re: Ubisoft Will Only Make Games That Can Be Turned Into Franchises
It would be cooler if the main character was using a 3DS to send out those electronic scrambler things instead of a smart phone xD
Re: Nintendo Reveals The 2013 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards
I got the poster set since i can listen to the soundtrack on youtube if i so desire. And I can buy the games later on too

Re: One Piece: Romance Dawn Won't Be Sailing To North America
I could care less about this game really, but i do feel the pain that the people who want this are feeling. Sega did this with Phantasy Star Online 2.
