@Dragonite89 Are you saying he has skeletons in his closet “like most high ranking people” because of some sour grapes attitude about high ranking folks or is it because most people in general probably have a skeleton or two? I’m not currently high ranking where I am and my closet has its share. I’d be comfortable betting money that you have secrets of your own and you’re just doing exactly what you’re accusing him of.

You’re spending way to much on screen protectors. Nearly every brand of good quality, well reviewed glass protectors I see typically come in packs of three or four for not much more than $10. Where are you getting these $20 singles?

I play Pokémon Sword in handheld only because I don’t want trees, grass, and other low res assets that would have looked good in Ocarina of Time but look like crap now to be blown up to full size on my TV.

If this was a buyable dlc only no one would be complaining right now because that’s how dlc as we know it works, but because you can access it for free while belonging to the new subscription tier people are complaining that they won’t get to keep it when it expires. Isn’t that like being upset that you can’t play the NES and SNES Games if you aren’t subscribed?

@UltimateOtaku91 Even if it had open areas like this is introducing, I doubt they would ever get rid of their overall formula when Gen 9 rolls around. It sells too many games and they already know how to make them.

Remember the penny test when Switch first launched to see if your dock was pinching inward? Mine passed that test but still leaves marks on my Switch’s bezel. I put a glass screen cover on day one so it’s never caused any damage and I only occasionally clean the marks off the since the gameplay itself isn’t obscured. But now you need a protector more than ever. No more bezel means the dock will be putting those scuffs directly onto the actual screen space. I’m disappointed that that’s the first thought I had at this new design.

@Shunk1 I know right. How annoying is it when an actor chosen to play a fictional person in a fictional story isn’t exactly lined up with the same nationality as the character. Like in X-Men when they gave the roles of Wolverine and Nightcrawler to Australian actors instead of a Canadian and a German. Also, Ian McEllen is an atheist Englishman. Are you telling me there aren’t any Jewish Germans out there they could have given the chance to play Magneto? And then there are British actors putting on some fake accent and play an American. Is America so short on actors you can’t find enough to play all the American characters in a movie?

This isn’t about fomo or tricking people into buying pretend limited edition games. It’s for that comparatively small number of people who would really like a physical copy of a game and are willing to pay a premium for it even if it’s available much cheaper digitally. I’ve bought a few things from Super Rare Games and a decent number of titles from Limited Run Games for no other reason than I wanted a real life disc or cart to hold in my hand. I’ve never cared if it was limited to 2000 copies printed or one they made a bunch of due to high demand during a LRG month long preorder. All that mattered is if I wanted that particular game. They could flash a wild “500 copies only” message about a game I don’t care about and it would do nothing for me.

I’m impressed at the cover art showing proper firearm handling. You can tell most people who make movie posters or game art don’t know anything about gun safety and have characters who are supposedly trained pros chilling with their fingers on the trigger just begging to cause an accident at the smallest slip. Bonus points if the gun is pointed at their feet or somewhere else it shouldn’t.

Every time I hear about a takedown like this, my way of dealing with it is that I had no idea it even existed.

How many times do I have to say that the only way to stop scalpers is to stop paying their prices? Quit leaving it up to companies to cap prices, police bots, set max order quantities, etc. As long as they know you will pay them, the scalpers will find a way.

@GrailUK The way to stop it is to not buy from scalpers. If they can’t sell things at inflated prices they have to keep lowering those prices until it’s not worth it to them. At that point they return the items to break even or give up scalping altogether. That will never happen because people can’t help themselves. They will always pay those high prices so really it’s their own fault. Quit feeding the beast.

I hope they never go back to requiring steps for Battle League. For a few weeks now, my movement isn’t registering well. I’m not doing anything differently but my eggs have been stagnant with very little distance change. Those numbers are barely going up. I’d never get to battle again.

If they made a new Dead Space game it would have to follow the formula of the first two. I’d rather have a remaster than see a continuation of 3’s style. I’ve always told people it says a lot about Dead Space 1 that the scariest part of 2 is boarding the docked Ishimura.
I always knew what was was going to happen in 3. Walk out of a building into the outdoors? Respawned baddie bursts out of the ground. Push a button to call an elevator or start a lift? Lights start flashing and a lockdown initiates. Time to fight a few waves of necromorphs. Most of the dread and tension was gone.

Better not skip on the glass screen protector if this ever happens or your dock will scuff your screen instead of a bezel.

If Nintendo thought this would sell well enough to make it worth their time they would have already done it. They know it wouldn’t sell well here. The loud noise to have it released comes from an overall tiny group.

The only “Surprise, surprise!” there could possibly be about this is if anyone on planet earth actually paid one of these prices. I can still go to any Walmart in town and find a stack of copies. Nintendo Life must know there are boatloads of copies out there in the wild. This article is clickbait.

The only reason you wouldn’t take your four player co-op Ninja Turtles game inspired by the most popular TNNT game ever and put it on the Switch would be if you hated money. It’s coming to Switch.

Unless stores are expected to mail back every unsold copy it’s going to be on shelves for months or years. Just in my town there are stacks of them split between all the Walmarts, Target, and game stores.

If you still don’t have it and want to save some, it goes for $45-$50 on eBay. That probably won’t change much unless it goes down because it’s not in the news anymore freaking people out.

I have the Splatoon pink and green set and the pink one looks nothing like the picture. At all.
Maybe the other three really are similar to each other but after seeing a photo make a neon pink joycon appear red you’d have to look at them In real life
