I wish I could spreed the word about this game and buy copies for all my firends, but I live in Australia, so I can't.

However, bringing the Game Centre CX show over to America would certianly increase sales.

For all the guys saying "Games aren’t worth that much" you need to realise that this a FACTORY SEALED copy of EARTHBOUND. Whoever bought it obviously won't tear it open and play it when they get home (They probably already have a copy).

Who knows, perhaps he's planning on keeping it in his family for years and years and then selling it to a museums as an ancient artefact of less civilized time.

Damn straight. PAL regions have had to cope with higher prices for years, even to the present day. However, looking back PAL issues at the time, prices should've been the least of our concern....

A group of kids at my school (GTA fans, of course) constanly make fun of me for not pirating games. I'm not even going to bother explainign them that their killing the game indistry, but I guess they're only killing games that they like, so it's their loss.

This needs a European/Australian release. The only thing is, I fear it won't do well in the Australian market.

I'm so darn tempted to buy this. The reason I'm holding back is because Nintendo sold me a half-finished game called Pokemon Diamond a few years back.

9.36/10 for me. Mainly becuase PAL issues are not as much of a probelm as the previous two.

The Official Nintendo Mag was a little stricter though, giving it around 40%, which shows that even though they advertise the crap out of it, Nintendo themselfs don't like it.

This game is fantasic, but I was kinda disapointed with it's length, or maybe that's just because I normally expect RPGs to be around 30+ hours long.

I'd give it a 10, and the PAL verison a 9 becuase of the music that's slower than it should be even with PAL slowdown.

And the ladders. Especially the ladders.

@Don: Being the grind-a-thon that it is, Mother 1 isn't likely too sell much. So it Nintendo might see it's poor sales and consider changing the music even less.

If the songs are the case, then all 3 Animal Crossing games should have been banned. The songs in those games almost sound exactly like songs in the real world, heck, even Rockin' K.K. has the "Go, Johnny, Go, Go" part.

And yes, we have gotten games at different times than Europe in the past.

@King Elemento: Apparently, the emulation on the VC is super strict or something. PC emulates can emulate them easy, but then again, most PC emulators crash all the time. The VC doesn't.

And how do you guys know that you won't get something special for Christmas. Just wait and see.

@Kaptain Konami: I guess so, but we're expecting too much each week. Everyone here's always saying "Oh yeah we're gonna get CVIII this week' or "This game has been ESRB rated, so we're going to get it this week".

We all know Nintendo is spacing out their releases, so just enjoy what's already there and uh.... coughemulatecough... the rest.

@Captain Konami: Yeah, I guess so, but some times we get one game a fornight, so I guess that would be half a game a week or something.

@Dazza: Last year they moved the usual Friday update to Tuesday (Christmas Day), so there's really no "rule", but I have no idea what KeeperBvK is trying to say. I don't think we'll get these on Wednesday.

So wait, do we get a Christmas update as well, or just the usualy Friday (Boxing Day) update?

Oh, and Captain Konami, we get VC updates every fortnignt. So a "one-game-per-fortnight status" would be a better way to put it.

I think giving this game 2/10 is being generous. If something is so bad that it needs to be "avoided at all costs", then it sould be 1/10, and nothing more.

I think I'll wait untill next week's VC releases before I download WoG. You never know what Nintendo could have planned for Christmas.
