Nintendo, this is what happens when you take 4 months to release a game.

This one's been getting some good-but-not-great reveiws from other sites. I think I may go for Dragon Quest IV instead.

Unless it's a modern day game based off an 80s franchise. We've been getting some cool 80s stuff, what with Ghostbusters and Back To The Future.

Besides, retro consoles through composite cables look like crap. An upscaler or RBG cable is essential if you want your retro games to look decent on a HDTV

@29.WaltzElf: I totally agree with you, but I've given so much money to video game companies here, the region locking is just a kick in the balls. If there was no region lock, I would've happily bought the system locally.

And besides, Nintendo of Australia's repairs service has always been great (they fix dead save batteries in old games for free), so I hope they won't have any issues fixing imported stuff, even if I have to pay.

Oh dear, this game is going to flop and it's not even it's fault.

I hope this one is more of an "advancement" than New Super Mario Bros Wii, which was just the DS game with new level layouts and multiplayer (there I said it). Even the bloody music is the same songs.

Considering they only gave the PS1 version a 9.8 or something....

I don't see what the big deal is with this game... maybe I'm not far enough yet, but it feels like Donkey Kong Country for people with attention disorders. It just doesn't have the same deep, dark, jungle vibe that Rare's games had.

Of course Europe won't be seeing it until mid-2012.

Too bad the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection doesn't have Sonic 3 & Knuckles (but it has Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles ), so what's the best and cheapest way to play S3&K in 60hz?

No, Mario Kart created a whole genre of kart racing games, it isn't a sports game. Personally, I've never considered car racing a sport anyway.

Agreed. Legal legal issues my ass. If you can get old NTSC imports like Super Mario RPG or Final Fantasy, there's no reason you can't give us "import" versions of the all the other titles.

@TheColorsOfSonic: PAL is the kind of consoles that are sold in Europe and Australia. Ironically, these consoles are not your friend, and will constantly beat you up with extra delays, higher pricing and 50hz issues.

I was a big fan of the Mario Sports games on GameCube when I was younger, so this is definatly on my list.

SPOILER ALERT: You can play as the Slime from Dragon Quest. I'm so buying this game right now.

Mario Party Fan 999, I highly recommend importing the consoles from NA if possible. The price of shipping won't be much compared to what you'll save on the console and games.

I like how Americans are fine with this, but PAL gamers are going bats**t. So we should. We save some big bucks by importing. and play games that will never be released here.

@Chibi Link: I'll be importing my 3DS from the US as well. I feel real sorry for Nintendo of Australia though. They did quite well considering how small the portion of the market Australia represents is. Good bye, old friend. Contact the ACCC about the 3DS when more details are revealed too. I might do so myself. Seems like just another reason to pirate games.

Never tried this infamous game, or any other game in the series before, so maybe I'll jump into this arcade version just for the heck of it.

I watched my brother play it and he got stuck in a room he couldn't get out of.

Playing this on PS3 Mega Drive collection. This game took me by surprise at how good it was. An underrated classic. It's hard, but that's what makes a retro game a retro game!

@154.fishman100: Yeah, the game's first hour is pretty annoying, but once you get past it you'll find the most unique experience in the Zelda franchise.

You can't balme Nintendo for not trying something different. That's what they did with Wind Waker and heaps of people and moaned about that game. Now they make a game similar to Ocarina and people say it's too similar.

I really liked this game. It was more than worth my time and money.

I just played this for the first time tonight on the Mega Drive Ultimate Collection and I can't beleive I never cared for this series before. Too much fun.
