@31.BetelgeuseWC77: Geez, can't you get it on GBA anyway?
Final Fantasy VI yaaaaay Never played a FF game before, so everyone's favorite will be my first when it comes out on VC sometime next year, and in 60hz too! Thank god it wasn't released back in the day.
@59.outrun2sp: At the end of the day, it's really Nintendo's fault for their stupid file size limit.
Like I said, Provinciano, if your reading this, I'm cool with it being on another platform with extra features that wouldn’t fit the Wii version, because those sorts of things are out of your control, but please price Wii owners less then Xbox users, to make things fair.
Ah yes, Christmas 2002; The Christmas of GameCube and Super Smash Bros Melee. The Christmas that changed my life forever. I had asked for Super Mario Sunshine, but that must’ve been sold out, so it fell back on my parent’s best judgement, and man did I get lucky. It was my introduction to the world of Nintendo outside of Pokémon. Ah yes, those were the days. I’d give anything to re-live the next 4 years after that Christmas.
I think Nintendo's learned from everyone's b***hing about Twilight Princess' delays that they shouldn't be concrete about release dates when they game isn't 100% finished yet.
I sent angry email to NoE. Told me the aim of the Virtual Console was to provide exact replicas of what was originally released in its respective region. They ensured me that my comments would be passed on to Nintendo's headquarters. The PR was very polite about it too. Now I feel a little bad for getting mad at them....
EDIT [22nd January 2011]:
I just had a thought; if Nintendo's aim is to provide replicas of what was originally released, then why bother changing some games to have reduced boarders or fixed speed? It's almost like the PAL VC fails at almost everything it tries to do! When will you listen Nintendo?
My main gripe is the 50hz thing. I think the game should lose 5 points just for that.
Hopefully there'll be a big enough backlash on this for Nintendo to realise something, but unfortunately, there's still some of the greatest games ever made on that disc, and I have a feeling most fans will be happy enough with that.
To an extent. Melee is fine as it is, and Brawl is fine as it is. At least there's a choice. I can imagine all the hate on other website right now. Ugh... It's March 2008 all over again.
@98.Betagam7: No, I mean the game itself will run in 60hz, but it'll running a ROM that plays like it's at 50hz, so that non 50hz compatible TVs will still be able to display it, or something.
Unlikely though... >: (
Hey, maybe the CD soundtrack will run 17.5% slower aswell!
@88.Dodger: Uh, it's not the full price of a Wii game where I live.
For those of you who didn't like the first game, I highly recommend giving the series a second chance. This game is what the first one should have been like. I'm glad they didn't try and change what was good about the first too much either, although the adjective system defiantly makes the whole experience more interesting, and the improved levels are cleverer and won’t be as easy and boring the “feed the kid” missions the first game had. At the moment, it's a 9/10 from me too.
Ah, well. It's still coming to PC. You can pre-order all the episodes of the game for $25, and you get a free copy of puzzle agent. We would've probably payed over twice as much if it was released on WiiWare anyway.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - January 2011
Huh. I always thought that the GBA was just as powerful as the SNES. I guess I was wrong...

RIP Rayman.
Re: Review: Comix Zone (MD)
You can make save states with the Wii anyway.
Re: Review: Cave Story (WiiWare)
Hey guys, is it worth getting this over the PC version?

Re: Review: Mario Party 2 (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
Thank god Nintendo stopped making a new Mario Party every year. I started at 4 and gave up at 7.
I do have very good memories of playing the games at my Grandparents house while my parents worked on the school holidays.
So Mario Party 2 probably isn’t worth m much to me.
Re: Talking Point: Your Nintendo Christmas Presents
A lot of people are getting Super Mario All-Stars Wii. I guess the clerks must be recommending it.
Or maybe it’s because it's cheap.
Re: WiiWare Super Meat Boy Gets Canned
@164.Xorn: Not only would a WiiWare release be more expensive, but it would also have less content.

Then high school and Wii came. Now my life sucks.
Re: Features: NES Characters, Then and Now: Part One
@26.Aviator: Yes he is. Ask Rare.
Re: Talking Point: Your Nintendo Christmas Presents
Me and my brothers collectively got:
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Rock Band 3
Boo, Cheep-Cheep, Wario's Hat, and Dedede plushes
And, uh, Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition from my brother. Might see if I can sell it....
Holy crap! Why is Iwata dressed as Santa?!
Re: Brian Provinciano Addresses Retro City Rampage WiiWare Delay
Wii owners are getting something extra - the controller.
But still... better controller or extra features? Grr... I was really looking forward to this one too.
Maybe if they price the Wii one cheaper, I'll forgive them.
Re: WiiWare Super Meat Boy Gets Canned
Who cares? It's on PC.
Also, don't get so mad at Team Meat. They did their best: http://kotaku.com/5717345/super-meat-boys-wiiware-release-canceled-disc-release-looking-grim
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th December 2010 (Europe)
All the Mario Party games are the same anyway...

Re: David Jaffe Personally Insulted By Nintendo's 'Geeks And Otaku' Comment
Well, they sorted out the memory space issue, so it's all good now.

Re: Review: Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (DS)
I still think the movie will be worse than this.
Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition (Wii)
@48.SoulSilverIV: They have that "settling scores" thing don't they? Maybe send them an email about it and see what they say. I sure did.
Re: Mario and His Sporty Friends Go to Court in February
If each of the sports is fleshed out into it's own game, then I'd pick this up without hesitation.

Re: Ready Yourself for a Super Bonk Attack this Friday
When was the last time an interesting game came out on Virtual Console anyway? I used to check for the updates every week, but now...
Come on Nintendo, release Super Dodge Ball in PAL regions already!

Melee is fine as it is, and Brawl is fine as it is. At least there's a choice.

What? I seriously don't rememeber him having a song in Johnny English, and I must have seen that film twice since it was released.

Chances are, it's going to be a 60hz game running a game at 50hz speed, if that makes sense.

NINTENDO YOU MOTHER****ERS. SERIOUSLY. GO TO HELL.
Still buying the game though. But I might be writing an angry letter. I encourage all you to do the same.
@30.WiiLovePeace: Are you joking? 50hz games run a sixth slower than the original. It's sort of a big deal.
Re: The DK Rap Isn't the Greatest Donkey Kong Song Any More
@26.Ravage: Yeah, I know! They should have totally used Don't Fear The Reaper instead!
