I think Nintendo has played a blinder drip feeding information like this. It keep everyone talking about the switch. My downtime at the moment is spent googling "Switch News" constantly.

There's a lot of tech in the switch. Don't get me wrong I'd rather pay less but it doesn't seem crazy overpriced.

Servers cost money. Why shouldn't we pay for online? Sony and Microsoft have charged for years. Plus if it allows Nintendo to build a better online experience then it's worth it.

I preordered with £50 last November at Game UK. I better get it Day One!

Genius! Everyone who walks past it will stop and wonder why it's upside down leading to more interest in mario kart.

These people are business people. If it would have been financially viable to offer online multiplayer they would have. There's no point paying for it if hardly anyone is going to use it.

Oh get over it already. Nintendo takes risks, sometimes they pay off sometimes they don't. Without risk takers we wouldn't get any innovative products would we. All I care about is I bought a cool system with some fantastic games. Even if they discontinued the wii u tomorrow I've still got my monies worth.

I am outraged. Because of the network being down I was forced to spend Xmas talking to my family and being sociable rather than locking myself in my room playing games. You have a lot to answer for Nintendo. This is the worst thing that's ever happened... Ever!

Try Amazon. As a retailer I hate saying it but bricks and mortar stores are dying.
