Didn’t read all the comments to see if it was included, but DOOM 3 should easily be at the top of this list. I think it’s one of the greatest FPS games on the switch, never mind just for horror games. Just a PERFECT game, and maybe my favorite DOOM experience.

The absence of mentioning Death’s Door as a comparison seems almost intentional. The games look and kind of sound similar. The visuals are very similar IMO. Not much hand holding in DD either.

@nhSnork I liked Galak-Z too. Was bummed when I loaded it up after a long while and it wouldn’t load.

……and Tecmo is great in a pinch. But we all wish it was Super Tecmo Football from NES, with 8 plays instead of 4. Just port it and take the nfl names out!

I feel like there’s a huuuuuuge opportunity for someone like the Super Mega Baseball guys to pivot and make a super good football game like they do with their baseball games. Hockey too for that matter! I would trust those guys with any sport!

@SmashTheTV agree. It’s developers are more dedicated to continually improving the game, even years after release. May not have the mlb licensing, but it’s the best baseball game I’ve ever played. Super fun, and not as arcade-y as people may think from its looks. Super true to form baseball game and experience.

Anyone know why this version of Tetris is not on the NES online? Like this should be a no brainer for those of us who free based Tetris on the original system

@Lord my god isn’t that the best tennis game ever!!!!???? I still got mine in a box with the Dreamcast in the basement!

@Shiiva completely agree. The game is so close to the rare cheap gem, but the difficulty of the bosses are so disproportionate to the near perfect level designs.

Incredible amount of content added to this game, most for free. What an unbelievable game first off, nevermind all they’ve added. Developers deserve a few hands for the generosity!

@Krisesk I’m also amazed at how little fanfare this game gets. It’s the perfect platformer for the older crowds. Finding psychedelic mushrooms for a quest should be enough to intrigue some players....😂😂😂

What makes me pay $20 for this instead of continuing to play a FREE WarFace?!?!!?

@Aneira Super Mega Baseball 3. Hasn’t been out much longer than a year I believe. Gets very deserved hype, and it’s an absolutely incredible sports game that the developers continuously listen to the fan base and improve with constant updates and new features. There’s one sports game.

Would also consider rocket league a pretty good sports game. Not sure what else you’d call it.

Also Tony hawk definitely a sports game. Confirmed coming. Have to imagine that’s going to be pretty good...

Visually stunning. Playing in the kitchen or bedroom feels like your in a Toy Story or Honey I Shrunk The Kids movie. Then the guns start blazing and it’s one of the best FPS on the switch hands down. Great for young kids with the absence or realistic gore and blood, but still challenging and fun for adults.

Only downside is the lack of online community. Most often a few people will join your game, but at times the amount of people online can be nearly nonexistent. It’s too bad, because with all the updates the game just keeps getting better and better. Worth at least the $15 it constantly goes on sale for!

WarFace sadly still the go to for a Call of Duty type experience. Great game, just wish there was another option after all these years now with the switch.

No mention of multiplayer??? I was under the impression the original was a multiplayer game, but I’ve seen no mention of this for the switch or even crossplay?

@MoistEmphasis3 aw man really? I miss a good football game. Finally got my old Bases Loaded 2 fix with Super Mega 3 recently. Need some solid football on the switch.

@sixrings been playing Mutant for awhile. If you can catch it on sale like I did it’s incredibly worth it. I honestly have zero complaints about gameplay. The commentary is outrageously funny. Great game. Think I got it for $10. Only football to play on the switch besides techno bowl. We need madden...

Why can’t they do what they did when Tyson got into legal trouble and they made “Punch Out”. Can’t they just change names and make the same game? Man people would kill for multiplayer Goldeneye.

@Desrever agree. Totally in the same spot after hundreds of hours of playing. Kinda wish there was a discount on the new DLC for people who’ve already spent well over $20 on the game and DLC. But I really can’t l complain too much, this is probably my most played switch game besides SuperMegaBaseball3. 10/10 game for sure. Is Hades similar/better? I’ve been mulling grabbing that one next time it’s on discount

Unbelievable that there’s no mention of split screen being added back. For most Switch owners this is the ONLY part of this update we are really excited for. Been waiting MONTHS for this and it’s finally back, had so much playing again with my 6yo last night! It’s been too long.

Oh yeah ABOUT time! What a gift for Xmas my daughter is gonna be psyched to play together again!!!

@Mr_Humpf unbelievable we are a month into this not being resolved. Most of us PAID for this function. Crazy it’s still not addressed.

@dil_power agree completely. If split screen indeed comes back then I’ll be relieved. If not then this is just completely unacceptable. I just wish they’d be a little more transparent with telling us what’s going on. So far two tickets put in on support page with no answer and no response from their Twitter page. Disappointing. Split screen online with my 6 year old playing with her friends and mine was EVERYTHING

@dil_power it seems like they are working to resolve it, or so their hard to find comment about it says on their support page. There is also still an option to change the split screen view in options so I am hopeful it comes back, but it’s crazy that something we explicitly paid for is getting such a slow fix. They seem more concerned with going free to play then giving the people what they paid for originally. Haphazard update.

@playednslayed as of last night. I hope today’s rollout fixes it. Supposedly this is a known issue on the rocket league support page. I would think this would be top priority but it’s been almost a week now that I haven’t been able to play with my 6 yr old.

Still no one mentions for the last week you can’t play split screen on the switch! This is CRAZY, especially to those who play this with their kids! And paid for this service! Rocket league needs to get it together. The last week and it’s rollouts seem haphazard so far....

@jaguarr @evenmoresteven see my comment above. Split screen is killing me. My 6 year old and I play a few games almost every day. Wish they had a better update, you would think they wouldn’t let this happen. But maybe they are using this weeks mistakes to roll out a solid release next week. I did find on one obscure page of the rocket league support page that they know this is an issue and they are working to resolve it. Which I take as they are trying to get it back ASAP. I put a ticket in on their support page to try and get more info but nothing back yet. I keep checking back here, let me know if anyone hears anything!

Surprised no one has commented on the split screen being unavailable on the switch with the new update. Favorite game to play with my daughter, hope they get it back soon. Not ideal. Also not loving the new menus. Update feels a little haphazard so far.
