@SpaceboyScreams Proportionately is the only, and correct, way to compare the two 😆 You're just making up your own rules as you go for the sake of argument.
@SpaceboyScreams Zelda MM sold about half as many copies as OoT on the N64, i.e. substantially bigger gap (proportionately) than TotK and BotW. Last of Us 2 has only sold a bit over 10 million, with it's predecessor standing at 30 (across different versions, the part 2 remaster might change the equation somewhat but hardly enough to catch up with TotK). A direct sequel selling less is normal. Is the BotW/TotK gap bigger than normal? Maybe, I don't know and you don't seem to either. Is the gap big enough to claim that the "general audience" thinks just like you? Come on...
@Ryu_Niiyama Same 😂 I love Ys and I've played the Cold Steel 1 demo and loved that too, so I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the series, just haven't managed to start playing them yet.
@Gryzor Awesome, sounds great to be able to quickly finish off weaklings that feel pointless to go into turn-based for anyway ^^ Looking forward to play the game.
Haven't played the game yet but it seems you've misunderstood the purpose of the action combat. From what I've heard it's meant to do precisely what you say it does well: let you dispose of weak enemies quickly and get attacks of opportunity in turn-based against stronger enemies. It's not meant for full-on action fights with stronger enemies.
@Athropos Agree, hardware limitations along with different visions at Nintendo and some other developers have brought us so many creative styles and ideas. Hope I'll never see the day when Zelda turns into just another photorealistic 3D game
FYI it's been out on Switch in Japan since last year, just getting a western release now. Maybe it's just me but the article gave me the impression this would be the first Switch release.
@Zebetite Hadn't heard of Infernax, but now I have and it's on my wishlist, so, thanks! Looks like it's got a lot more character than this game for sure, those little pixelated cutscenes look brilliant.
Not surprised, many people are probably taking this opportunity to upgrade to an OLED too. I just got the totk Switch but if I hadn't I'd probably have bought this one. It's a nice, clean-looking Switch, and it's Mario.
@Cordyceps Nayuta is a Falcom game, developed by Falcom. NIS is just the publisher for its Western release. It's part of the LoH series, and Trails, but it's its own arc, sort of.
I think this is exactly what's drawing me to the depths. The depths give me that feeling of uninterrupted exploration, with a twist, and I love it. It just lacks some of the diversity of the overworld. I love both games, and totk outshines botw in several ways (including a livelier world), but I still feel botw excels in certain areas. Some things are hard to measure.

Re: Soapbox: Vanillaware's Most Underrated Game Is More Than Just A Pretty Picture
Heck yeah we need Muramasa and Odin Sphere on Switch
Re: Best Final Fantasy Games, Ranked - Switch And Nintendo Systems
Beautiful top three, but I agree with other comments, just that one top spot would've been enough 😉

Re: Don't Expect A Remake Of Final Fantasy 6 Soon, If Ever
Fully modernised or HD-2D, either would be great as long as they give it the love and commitment it deserves.

Re: 'Mario Red Edition' Switch OLED Launch Doubles System Sales In Japan
@SwitchForce Nice, I'm gonna have to settle for one OLED for similar reasons.
