Pokémon GO's global rollout continues today with the news that it is now available in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The app launched in Australia, New Zealand and Japan over a week ago, but was withdrawn from the latter following server issues. North American gamers were then granted access, followed by Germany. It arrived in the UK yesterday.
Now ranked as the biggest mobile game in US history, the AR title has become something of a phenomenon, boosting Nintendo's share price in the process. However, this success has led to some claiming that the app poses a danger to some users.
Are you in one of the countries which has gotten the game today? Let us know how you're getting on with the app by posting a comment below.

Does it have to "officially" roll out in all countries, or how does that work? Like, does it have to officially come out in Switzerland and the Philippines, or will it just go global at some point?
Still nothing for Mexico and Canada sadly.
The Japan release is going to be a mess no matter what.
Yeah as soon as the overlords Japan get hold of this game, say goodbye to our servers Cough Pokemon Bank Cough
I still think that this game can be some sort of a spyware, since it can collect data by using both Internet connection and device's camera. I don't really feel safe playing the game.
I still feel bad for Ireland as they don't have it but the UK does.
living in france is fun
@Azooooz
Well the Camera bit I wouldn't worry about. You don't have to use the camera and truth be told the game works better without it. And for the other stuff? It's nothing Google and Facebook don't do already. And those sites know who you are! Not to mention your service provider who has always known where your phone is and literally has your ID. Really, it's no less of an issue than your mobile phone already was.
@Azooooz The fact that it asks for full access to your Google account is suspicious but yep Nintendo die-hard fans will always tell you that it's totally normal.
Portugal ayeah!!!!
@VanillaLake @Azooooz You know that it doesn't do that, right? That was just an error that has been fixed now. It was obvious that it shouldn't have been there when it only did that to iOS users. And this game was done in collaboration with Google, why would they need your Gmail when they can basically do anything with it? Please stop claiming that people would tell someone things for no reason.
@BensonUii Now you can finally join us
@Parkour_LMan With no reason? There was a Nintendo Life article about it. So many permissions for an app that only uses GPS and camera. Allow me to have doubts and criticise, you are free to play and I don't tell you what to do and what to post.
It bothers me that they are releasing a proven buggy and sometimes unplayable game in more countries before bothering to fix the issues...
So... how many other parents are needing to buy a new mobile phone for their children so it'll run this app? Just me?
@VanillaLake And it was proven to be an error. Yes, there was an article, but that permission is no longer the case. Niantic told everyone that they solved the error in the new update (1.0.1 on iOS and 0.29.2 on Android).
Djihadist Go is available in France since last night.
Gotta catch'em all!
(sorry....)
@BensonUii But since there are tons of know issues that literally crash the game every few minutes, shouldn't they halt some releases until they get things stabilized? To me this just looks like they are happy to give a broken product to more people and take their money.
slightly annoyed the uk has pokrmon go and ireland doesn't.
@ everyone complaining of being in a country right beside a country that has it now, Canada and Mexico have been like that for a week. The difference is that it seems they are focusing on Europe, so you should get it in a few days. As for a rollout in the rest of North America, it's anybody's guess.
Is this gonna spur more server problems?
Pokémon GO: giving my country the Kalos treatment before the main series ever will.
I'm not into PGO myself, but I'm glad this will bring newcomers to the franchise!
Been using the apk for two days, but glad it came out officially in Portugal, yesterday saw a lot of people playing it, I live in front of a big park, and I always walk my dog for 30-40 min three times a day, now I walk him until the incense runs out lolol
Someone took Souflee from me, its my NintendoId and my Nintendolife account, on Pokemon Go, had to settle for Soufl33
