Someone on reddit made it, now it's my phone wallpaper.
I know you're making those points about composition and progression, but for this one I just really like the symmetry. I love how the Master Sword lines up perfectly with Death Mountain.
@Nicolai I thought that theory that the giant guardian had blown the hole in that snowy mountain was ridiculous when I first saw it, but I'm starting to like it more and more. Especially if the guardian snipes you from afar as you cross the world relatively near Death Mountain. That'd be sick, like a rul rul swole Halo scarab!
@Haru17: I like the theory that the Gorons took a collective bite out of it. But it would also be an incredible feat if Nintendo was able to get an enemy to track and shoot you from a mile away. Talk about draw distance! But on the Wii U, my guess is that the fact that we can see it moving is only due to some clever background trick, and that its not actually intractable until you get close to it.
@Nicolai I don't know. Theoretically, they could just have that guardian's basic AI constantly loaded. It's already walking around on Death Mountain on Wii U, and the boulders can get launched for miles with stasis. But who can really say? This kind of mechanic would have to factor in the terrain across the open world to determine line of sight too.
@Haru17:They could always just have line of sight apply to your nearby area. Who knows? After all, you're probably mostly going to be reacting by taking cover under nearby crag. All they would have to do is keep your location and the Guardian loaded, but nowhere inbetween; it wouldn't be physically perfect, but it would be appropriate. Man, what a perfect location for a large-scale sniping to take place, right? With all of that torn-up earth?
I don't remember where I found it (if someone already posted it here I'm sorry), but someone uploaded basically the whole Zelda Art and Artifacts book in a video.
There's a couple really amazing Twilight Princess promotional pieces that I've never seen before. However, I was kinda disappointed that they didn't delve into the concept art for the characters and enemies in Twilight Princess, but instead printed the 3D renders. Pretty lazy as, even if those files were deleted, I can still find them on freakin' google image search!
But worry not, they still have all of the character concepts for The Wind Waker. As well as all two promotional arts
@Tyranexx It's 400 pages of concept art. Some are unreleased, but most can be found online if you look hard enough. Kinda depends if that's what you're looking for or not..
(Don't worry, we will see Trifoce Heroes Adventures, three remakes, four HD remasters [including Wind Waker HD HD] and a 3ds sequel to Zelda 2 in between BotW delays).
I'd be down for a Zelda 2 sequel if it's not ugly as sin. And Breath of the Wild is COMING OUT March 4th. Nintendo's OUT OF DELAYS!! I'm gonna rob the store of that game like these freakin' millennials:
