@Jhena That guy rules, he's just so happy all the time. Whenever I see him I'm like "hell yeah brother!"
“Why do you speak of certain reversals—machinery connected wrong, for instance, as being ‘ass backwards’? I can’t understand that. Ass usually is backwards, right? You ought to be saying ‘ass forwards,’ if backwards is what you mean."
What I like most about this game is the way it blends DNA from both modern and classic Zelda; it has the open-ended approach to problem solving from BOTW/TOTK, but the vibes and structure is more reminiscent of the older entries.
As much as I love the last two games, I didn't realize how much I missed the older style til now. Feels good.
I agree. I love top down Zelda games, and this one is hitting all the right notes. And moreover, the game provides so many different ways of traversal and combat, which isn’t seen in a lot of games in this style. It’s so inventive, creative, and a joy to play.
1) OHHHhhh. You have to hold R to use follow while you're binded. In case anyone else is as dim as I am. I kept pressing/tapping R and it just made some broken bump sound.... because I wasn't holding it.
2) How do you kill the shark by the wooden ship in the water?
3) Has anone else realized that EOW is essentially a zelda game built around an easy duplication glitch, whereas in BOTW and TOTK they kept patching easy dupliation glitches out? I think TOTK needs an Echo mode added so you don't have to waste your time farming stuff.
@WoomyNNYes
I can not really remember how I defeated the shark, but maybe using bombfish might work? Or try to use many small fish and use bind on the shark to keep it on one spot, while the fish attack him.
Zelda would not be the same without characters like Stamp Guy. I like him, a friendly guy, just doing what he likes doing.
Typically I stay out of these threads after the game releases to avoid spoilers, but I do skim this one since I'm actively playing it lol. I hope the Zelda series never changes in this regard; I love quirky characters like Stamp Guy!
Hey everyone! Been playing echoes of wisdom and i need a tip on redeads they are pretty annoying and I'm not sure what the most useful echoes are to kill them easily. Always hated those things in zelda games. Any advice?
First Redead I defeated I just spawned a bunch of Octoroks to pelt it to death from a distance, as well as setting it on fire with an Ignizol as I recalled them being weak to fire in TOTK.
@FishyS
Thanks. Some challenges are tricky, but thankfully there is no real reason, to go for a fast time bonus.
Alright I am at the point of no return. Should I just beat the game or go for 100%? I am missing three heart pieces, two stamps, sixteen strengh crystals and probably a few quests and items.
I’ve done a few sleep dojos, I’ll probably finish off the rest today. I’ve done all the horse racing which was surprisingly more fun than I expected. I’ve also collected 17 stamps and have 13 hearts altogether so I’m looking forward to maxing those out within the next couple of days. I’ve actually kind of struggled with the acorn gathering on some locations, but it shouldn’t be too bad.
