I love those little details and events, like in Jabul's temple. The temple was full of debris and a river Zora wanted to clean it. When I came back later, the temple was clean and he told me, that he cleaned it. Or the destroyed bridge near Seesyde village and the destroyed house in the river Zora village, which both get repaired later on. Stuff like this makes the world feel alive and it makes me happy, that I am not the only one who helps Hyrule and its inhabitants. What a great game.
Wow, the beginning of this game was fun, seems front loaded with dungeon like areas and action. I'm so glad I didn't have to wander tediously around town like the beginning of Skyward Sword.
I was so worried I wasn't going to like this combat system with echoes, but it's been great!
@Jhena oh so they do repair the bridge? Haha last I checked it there was a woman next to it saying how it complemented the look of the area, and that she kind of prefers it broken.
I like how the first hour or so do have open-ended moments, but in general it's a nice tutorial and a bit more on-rails.
@BougieBeetle
Yea, I have Epic Mickey Rebrushed preordered on Amazon and they still haven't shipped it to me. And now when I checked, it's only 3rd parties selling it for like 80-90 dollars.
@Eel
Yes, they do. She mentions how she liked the broken bridge, even after it is repaired. Funny people living in Hyrule.
The cats are so cool, if you talk to them. I love that beating a dungeon also helps the people to grow as a person. I also like talking with everyone., because the dialogue is well written. Seriously I have so much fun with this game. Video games just get better and better.
I just finished the Gerudo Santcum dungeon. I was thoroughly impressed by how large and brilliantly designed it was. I missed one treasure chest that I couldn’t figure out how to get, but thankfully you can go back to these worlds. I also beat the Jabul Waters dungeon last night. And the echoes you can acquire during these two locales really open the game up in fun ways. To try and be somewhat vague, I feel like Aladdin now

That is vague enough I have no clue what you are talking about even though I also beat those dungeons 😆 I saw a clip of someone who somehow made a hyperspeed rocket... I definitely am not figuring out all the uses of these echoes.
What I like most about this game is the way it blends DNA from both modern and classic Zelda; it has the open-ended approach to problem solving from BOTW/TOTK, but the vibes and structure is more reminiscent of the older entries.
As much as I love the last two games, I didn't realize how much I missed the older style til now. Feels good.
You know, I wish EOW would inspire Nintendo to put out updates for modes to enable echo duplication of resources in BOTW/TOTK. I loved those games, but resource farming needed in the games never felt respectful on my time. EOW was essentially built around having an easy duplication glitch, sort of like the duplication glitch that was patched out quickly in TOTK (I still never updated TOTK after 1.1.0. Thank god for that easy paraglider duplication glitch!)
@Dogorilla While in a 2d underground area (gerudo dungeon?), I did destroy a Pathblade by dropping a boulder onto it. Pathblades are the round, orange, sawtooth, hockey pucks that travel back and forth on the ground. I dropped a boulder from an upper level that was maybe 3-4 zelda's high and killed it, leaving an echo to learn. Although, that height to drop a boulder is rarely available. I love using the Pathblade echo to travel on, they zip across the map! They're better than flying tiles along the ground. Just jump on it as soon as you create the Pathblade echo.
@WoomyNNYes Ah ok, I did wonder if it might work from a greater height, but the fact that the monsters don't react at all from the height I tried made me think they were just immune to it. It does look a bit silly the way the rock just balances on top of them until they move!
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Oh boy a new Zelda game this is going to be awesome sauce. I have to wait a bit yet to get it but hopefully I’ll get my hands on it with my birthday on Tuesday October 15th.
