@Balta666 At least it'll be โ‚ฌ20 in no time. BOTW on the other hand...

@BruceCM Will Ubi put the whole game on the cartridge or only half of it or only digital.

I said "immortal" because I ask this stuff for every major release on the Switch.

@BruceCM I think they are suggesting they are gonna use a small sized cartridge to put the game on so you have to download the rest of the game.

Well, they're definitely doing a physical release, @Zuljaras ..... Which doesn't have the blurb on it about having to download half the game! I'm sure someone will post here if information comes out to clarify that, too!

After looking at some extended gameplay footage this looks like the game Breath of the Wild should have been.

A terrible Ubisoft clone?

This game looks really good the more I see of it. Torn on which platform to get it on though.

@Octane I mean tbf I saw quite a few things taken from Ubisoft open world games in BotW. Stuff like the Shiekah Towers and and the Lost Pilgrimage mission gave me severe Assassin's Creed vibes.

@Octane

Or a superior action/adventure game without the annoying weapon degradation.

Not sure yet, but looking forward to finding out.

@WoomyNNYes Nope. The Xbox version clocks in at 30GB, so the Switch version with reduced quality assets will definitely fit on a 32 GB card.

This still looks interesting, and is probably the game I most have my eyes on in the near future (Hyrule Warriors looks pretty good, but Warriors gameplay takes it down a notch... Not too much since it is so focused and still looks great, but a little!).

I believe this is the same team that did Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Or I think I remember hearing that somewhere. I really enjoyed Odyssey, even though I'm no fan of violent games. It would be interesting to see the team's take on the more fantasy elements of ancient Greek mythology, which is apparently what this game is.

Also it's open-world, which makes it exciting, and I know that the Odyssey team knows how to make a solid, easy to follow open world game, so, that's definitely a plus.

Is this the first Switch gameplay footage of Immortals in todays Direct mini? I'm a underwhelmed buy how some of it looks on a full screen computer/tv, but it is on par with the Switch's power. I really hope the revised switch gets a serious power boost so we're not always struggling to play modern games that release across multiple platforms. (clip pasted to play at Immortals timestamp)

Can't stress this enough. The environments look good, but I can't stand the character design. The main character looks bland AF, and the enemies look like they're drawn by a 3-year-old. What's that fat medusa slug doing in this game? I don't understand how nearly every Greek/Roman mythology game can screw up enemy design so badly.

@Octane Yeah, comparing BOTW & Immortals, it really goes to show how great & fleshed out enemy designs are in BOTW.

@Octane The main character is customizable. I'm personally hoping that the customizing is deep enough so I can create Xena in it.

Generic character design is the big downfall of 90% of the more stylized Western-developed video games I play. They look like they've all crawled out of the same hell that spits out Dreamworks animated films.

@WoomyNNYes Eh. I think BOTW has pretty mediocre enemy design as well, standard enemies at least. Wind Waker is still the most consistent of them all. Skyward Sword was okay, but some like the Mogmas were just hideous, and some enemies were ripped straight out of a Pixar film, and not a good one. Remember that weird octopus lady thing? I really hate that thing.

@jump Character customisation is the death of good looking characters. Seriously, I'm paying them to develop a good game, I don't want an IKEA game with a DIY character. That's not my job.
