Scooby-Doo

DS: LEGO The Lord of the Rings. I think that was the thing that got me into gaming.
3DS: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Probably still 1 of my favourites.
Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, 'cause multiplayer is always fun.
PS3: Digital Devil Saga. Also 1 of my favourites, even despite the fact it used to run quite badly.
PS Vita: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona. It has its flaws, but I don't mind.

Kelpies. Be they hound or horse? I'd rather smell wet dog than be drowned by a horse.
Currently Playing on Switch: Chaos Head Noah, PARANORMASIGHT, Mega Man Series.

WoomyNNYes

NES = Super Mario Bros 3 (first game I remember buying with my own money)
Sega Genesis = Sonic The Hedgehog
PS2 = Gran Turismo 3
Gamecube = Super Mario Sunshine
New 3DS = Luigis Mansion Dark Moon
Switch = Zelda Breath of the Wild (got the console for Mario Kart, but it hadn't released yet)

@Anti-Matter I like that Lego City Undercover was your first 3DS USA purchase. I'm surprised they never made a sequel. I like the open world driving mission format better than the other lego games.

Also, LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER 3DS was my first ever original Nintendo game purchase back on 28 August 2013 (I still remembered the date since I wrote the purchase date for every purchased games I bought).
I started by one 3DS USA game in August 2013 and now I have more than 50 3DS games with region USA, Japan and PAL combined.

Just going to post the ones I can remember easily. In some cases I bought multiple games in a short time or got multiple games in a bundle with a used console.

Game Boy Advance - Golden Sun

DS - Professor Layton & the Curious Village

Wii - Super Mario Galaxy (discounting Wii Sports bundled)

Wii U - FIFA 13 (discounting New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U bundled)

Switch - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

As for 3DS, I can't remember whether I match with Anti-Matter on LEGO City Undercover, or whether I bought New Art Academy or Pokémon Y first, but I defo played LEGO City first.

Ok lets go for it, and I'm talking about the first games I bought, and not the ones that came with the console:

Toshiba MSX: Breakout
C64: Treasure Island Dizzy
Acorn 4000: Alone in the Dark
PC: Populous

NES: Solstice
SNES: Super Scope 6 (you dont have this game on this website?)
N64: Golden Eye
Game Cube: Mario Kart Double Dash
Wii: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wii U: Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Switch: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Gameboy: Final Fantasy Legend
Gameboy Colour: Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
DS: Dr Kawashimas Brain Training, How old is your brain
3DS: Kid Icarus: Uprising
3DS XL: Hyrule Warriors Legends

Master System: E-Swat (You only have the Mega Drive one on the site)
Mega Drive: Ecco the Dolphin
Saturn: Fighters Megamix
Dreamcast: Crazy Taxi

Playstation: Resident Evil
Playstation 2: Time Splitters
Playstation 3: Heavenly Sword

X Box original: Gun (I would put a link to it but Pure Xbox only has the 360 version)

Damn that was hard... Without going in to Mega Drive II and Master System II I think that's it....

Also should say, I still have all of these except the Toshiba MSX, Acorn 4000 and PC

Your first anything is important; a memory you don't want to forget. That's what makes nostalgia such a fascinating concept. That's why many people enjoy games that have aged well.

Well this is an arguable list for me, as most of this will be Christmas gifts, even going into when I was actually buying games with my own money. (only exceptions are GBA, 3DS and the non-Nintendo ones)

N64: Pokemon Snap
GBC: Tetris DX, Frogger, Jurassic Park 2, some WWF game
GBA: Super Mario Advance
GCN: Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, Super Monkey Ball, Smash Melee
DS: Super Mario 64 DS, Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits

Obviously a lot of these are going to be gifts in this format but in any case.
All of these are excluding console bundle titles:
GB: Mario & Yoshi
SNES: Super Mario Kart, I think.... it might have been Super Mario World
GBC: Donkey Kong Country
DS: Mario Kart DS
Wii: Twilight Princess
3DS: Rayman 3D (there wasn't much on 3DS when I got it)
Wii U: New SMB U if you exclude downloadable titles. Nano Assault Neo if you don't
Switch: Breath of the Wild

There's a huge gap here but, PC. It's is the home of about half of the games I own. Hard to remember what the first game I brought on it was. In the very early days? I was mostly into shareware/demoware stuff which didn't cost anyone anything. If you include those my first games would be something along the lines of One Must Fall: 2097 or Captain Comic. Then into the early 2000s when I got a bit more into PC gaming I was mostly sailing the high seas which arguably doesn't count. Regardless of how many hours I put into C&C and Age of Empires

I know the first game I brought on Steam was Portal, like most other people who got into Steam with Portal. So you might argue Portal was the first game I "brought" on PC. However I do have a copy of Rayman 2 for PC which I picked out of a bargain bin at some point in the very early 2000s. So possibly Rayman 2 is the first game I "brought" on PC

Some of these are tricky - best guesses rather than definite.

Amstrad CPC 464 - Treasure Island Dizzy was possibly the first game I bought with my own money. Best guess. But in an era when you could buy games on tape for 99p, who knows?
Sega Game Gear - Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion
Commodore Amiga 500HD - no idea. Syndicate was the first game I got via mail order
Sony PS2 - Final Fantasy VIII (yep, a PS1 game…). First PS2 game was Gran Turismo 3
Sony PSP - Virtua Tennis
Sony PS3 - Little Big Adventure
Nintendo DS - Phantom Hourglass
Nintendo 3DS - Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse (digital)
Nintendo Switch - Breath of the Wild (obvs)

I-U

Nintendo DS: Dementium II
Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles
3DS: Dead or Alive: Dimensions
Wii U: Nintendo Land (it's a pack-in, but I'm counting it)
Switch: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

This isn't something I really pay attention too. I probably purchased games before working in 2011, but I don't remember that for certain. I think Metroid: Other M is the first game I bought from my own money (card/gift money then), while Metroid Prime Trilogy was bought for me. I had both releases reserved/pre-ordered, so both at least had $5 invested.
